Selena Gomez Shoots New Music Video

Selena Gomez is trying to make herself seem more of an adult and scrape away her Disney past, but is this latest reveal a little much?

Selena has decided to look ASS-tronomical in her new music video, where her retro style revealed a bit of her butt cheeks on set in the desert in Palmdale, California on Mar. 4. The look is easily going to make people very interested in watching the sexy video — could one of them be Justin Bieber? One thing is for sure: She is making people talk about her, and that is exactly what she seems to be going for!

Selena Has Been Showing A Lot More Skin Lately!
Back on Feb. 10, during a post-Grammy Justin Timberlake concert, Selena tweeted a pic of herself, with the caption, “He’s bringing sexy back… And it’s about time!! @jtimberlake killed it!” But what was really sexy was her tight pencil skirt and colorful bustier that showed off her cleavage in the pic. She was definitely exposing more then we have been accustomed to of Selena in the past.

Selena Getting Sexier After Justin Bieber Break-Up!
Ever since Selena and Justin have been separated, they both have been showing off a lot more skin, which is definitely a sign they are trying to make each other jealous. It definitely looks like Selena seems to be winning with the latest pics from the Spring Breakers red carpets around the world and now this latest music video shoot.

Selena Gomez Is ‘Frustrated’ With Justin Bieber Relationship

The cast of ‘Spring Breakers’ is in Paris, France, promoting the new raunchy film. During a new interview with NRJ radio, Selena and the girls talk about life in the public eye, belly dancing and how ‘shocked’ viewers will be. Plus, Selena talks about her relationship with Justin Bieber. Watch the live stream video!
Spring Breakers premieres in the US on March 22 and we can hardly wait! But to hold us over, Selena Gomez, Ashley Benson, Vanessa Hudgens and Rachel Korine are letting it all hang out in a new interview with Paris’ NRJ radio!

“We never actually had a spring break before, so this was our chance to have our own spring break,” Selena said, when asked whether the movie is comparable to their real lives.

While the girls may not be as adventurous as their on-screen counterparts, Ashley may be considering a move to Paris!

Ashley said, “Yes, it’s my first time here, but I already love it. I only got a chance to go out for a few hours, but I want to come back.”

Selena Talks Justin Bieber Relationship
Of course, Selena’s love life with Justin Bieber was touched upon, in the vaguest way possible. The girls were simply asked if it was hard to live life in the limelight, but we know it was directed at Selena — that’s why she chose to answer it!

“I  mean, there’s certain points where it gets a little frustrating, not in the fan aspect, but in the media. I think it’s frustrating, but we’re all super blessed to be here and we love our fans and love what we do that we just try not to let it bother us,” Selena said.

This Movie Will ‘Shock’ You
And expect to be surprised when you see the movie. Vanessa admits that even SHE gets shocked each time she watches it.

“When I watch the movie, I’m still shocked. And I did it. But it’s an amazing movie for the fans who are old enough to see it, I think that they’re really going to enjoy it,” Vanessa said.

Selena Gomez part 6

Selena Gomez

Two girls trying to fit in the world they don't know. One is trying to be an average normal teenager and the other is struggling to find the "something" special in herself. Both of them are scared and insecure in facing the world they are not familiar with. They have to help each other to survive and to triumph. You may lose your title, your material positions, and even your dreams but a friend sticks forever.

Selena Gomez

Basically, that's the core value of the Disney's Original Movie Princess Protection Program or the PPP. Princess Protection Program is the latest offering of Disney Original Movie who has been giving its audience numerous block-buster telefilm (movies for TV) such as High School Musical, Camp Rock, Go Figure, Pixel Perfect and many others since 1983. Princess Protection Program is directed by Allison Liddi.

Selena Gomez

The Princess Protection Program features the two uprising teenage Disney stars Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez on the leading role. Demi and Selena, who are best friends in real life, play the role of royal Princess Rosalinda and tomboy Carter Mason who became best friends in the movie.

Selena Gomez

In the movie Demi Lovato plays the role Princess Rosalinda (which later became Rossie). When a dictator invades their country Princess Rosalinda was put into the custody of Princess Protection Program, a special forces that specializes in protecting princesses around the world. For her security, the agent named Mason hides the Princess in his home in Wisconsin. Princess Rosalinda became Rosie, and with the help of his Agent Mason's daughter Carter, they taught Princess Rosalinda how behave like an ordinary normal American teenager.

Selena Gomez

On the other hand Selena Gomez plays the role of Carter Mason, the daughter of Agent Mason. Carter is an insecure tomboy, who works at a local bait shop after school. Carter dreams of going to the school dance with her crush, Donny, the school hunk. Rosie quickly becomes popular at school which Carter must learn to accept but the two also form a close bond as Carter helps Rosie transform into a normal teenager and Rosie shows Carter how to find the princess within herself.

Selena Gomez

Selena and Demi are real life best friends they work together since they were tots in Barney & Friends for two seasons. Demi played Angela and Selena played as Gianna, you can see Demi and Selena Barney days on The Best of Barney DVD.

Selena Gomez part 5

Selena Gomez

Finally! High on the list, after one of the oddest release strategies for any debut album I'm aware of, we find a musical gem patiently waiting beneath the title track. I began listening to my brand spankin' new CD, hoping for the best but not expecting much after the initial few releases, and was more than pleased when "I Won't Apologize" began to play. The intro with simple guitar licks that resonate with a style throughout the entire song, leads off with a subtle, but quick leap into the first verse. Complimenting the guitar intro is a synthesized instrument that beautifully provides volume to an otherwise extremely relaxed instrumentation. Whether or not the first few releases were given the same treatment, it seems that on this song someone paid close attention to the way the music was harmonizing with the voice.

Selena Gomez

It's Selena's vocal style that drives this song. That is, her voice isn't simply falling in time with the rhythm, as a player waiting to hit her mark; rather, it's pushing the rhythm to keep up with her. The music could stop completely and she wouldn't lose pace. And there is a peculiar passion I sense from her in this particular song, like one who is absent-mindedly singing to herself. It's almost like we get a glimpse into a mind that's racing as she thinks back to an event that certainly had an impact on who she has become.

Selena Gomez

In fact, although the lyrics describe the song as being mostly about not apologizing for who you are, the way it's sung, from the preoccupied emotion to the softness of her high notes, makes me think it's more about a moment in life when you realize you are moving forward yet cannot help feeling some sadness for what you thought you wanted as you leave it behind. So it seems mostly to be about a state of melancholy. And perhaps that's what she intended.

Selena Gomez

In all, I'm pleased with the musical arrangement and the lyrics, but mostly in the vocal styling by Selena. No, she's not belting like Christina (for all those who think singers should sound alike), but of course she's not Christina; she's Selena. And while Selena might not have the vocal range of some of the top singers, still she sings with emotion. And that makes her very pleasing to listen to.

Selena Gomez

But with that said, do I think this song could have done well on the charts?

Selena Gomez

Topping the charts is often more about perception; that is, it's about who sings a song, how a song affects you at a particular time, how much it permeates the airways. Of course, that isn't a formula for all top-performing songs, but the point is you can't know how well a song will do no matter how well written. But you most certainly cannot judge it, penalize it or even reward it simply due to its ranking on the Top 100.

Selena Gomez

As a final note, I would like to say that I hope she teams with a more accomplished writer for at least one song on her next album, someone who can take advantage of her emotional style, and not just group-write a bunch of songs in the mindset of dropping in a voice and calling it a day (which is the sense I get from some of the other tracks on the CD). But I guess that really depends on how serious she's taking this musical venture.

Selena Gomez part 4

Selena Gomez

Bridgit Mendler is just a sixteen year old girl at the moment, but she is soon set to be turned into a superstar. Celebrity commentators such as Perez Hilton have already crowned her as the latest massive Disney star. Despite this, few people know who she is. So who exactly is she and why is she making Miley Cyrus so worried?

Selena Gomez

Bridgit was raised on the east coast and only really took an interest in acting when she moved west. After acting in a few minor roles, it was in the last year that her career took off. Starring in movies such as "The Clique" and "Labor Pains", Bridgit was noticed by Disney who realized that she could have what it takes to the next big thing. To test her out, they invited her to play a guest role in the series "JONAS". Fans enjoyed her appearance so much that she was subsequently asked to come back to play a vampire for four episodes in "Wizards of Waverly Place". Filming had barely even started when Disney decided that Bridgit should get her own show, and it was announced in mid-July 2009 that she would be the principal actor in a new show called "Good Luck Charlie".

Selena Gomez

This dramatic rise to fame in just under a year has all the hallmarks of a typical Disney superstar. Bridgit has all the ingredients necessary to take the crown from stars such as Miley Cyrus. Not only can she sing and dance but she is also an excellent actor, making whichever show she features in appear brighter with her happy personality. It is possible that Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus have realized that she could soon be sharing their podium; apparently the three are regularly in contact with each other.

Selena Gomez

Whether or not Bridgit's show is a success, there is no doubt that this young star is going somewhere. As "Hannah Montana" approaches its final season, Disney will be looking for a new actress to focus its attention on.

Selena Gomez part 3

Selena Gomez

Disney seems to be one of the biggest stars factories when it comes to children, or shall I say teens! Miley Cyrus and now Selena Gomez whose popularity has increased ever since she first starred as the main character in the Disney TV Show, Wizards of Waverly Place.

Selena Gomez

Before starring in the Wizards of Waverly Place show, Selena Gomez starred as an extra in various other television programs, Barney & Friends being one of the more popular ones. She then auditioned for the show and got the main role, Alex who is a wannabe wizard after finding out that her parents have magical power. The show is currently in the middle of Season 2 and its popularity is increasing.

Selena Gomez

Remember last year around the same time when Hannah Montana, the TV show was starting up? The history with regard to this seems to be repeating as even though Miley Cyrus didn't become popular overnight, Selena Gomez is following up closely and who knows where her popularity will be in a year from now.

Selena Gomez

My two daughters are absolutely crazy about both the Hannah Montana and Wizard of Waverly place episodes and even I am inclined to watch, more often the latter whenever new episodes come out. I guess the characters have such a good personality and they make you feel as if you are actually involved, in the TV. It appears that Disney have finally figured out that quality works over quantity and here I am referring to shows like Just Raven or the Suite Life which have lots of episodes but are of minimalistic quality, and the actors aren't that great either.

Selena Gomez

I therefore congratulate Disney for picking great actors such as Selena Gomez and Miley Cyrus for these two shows and it looks like their change in 'management' has definitely helped raise the fan numbers.

Selena Gomez

I work as a graphic website designer and somehow, hearing from school presumably, my two daughters heard that one of their friends has a website about Taylor Swift so what do they do? They come to me and ask me to make them a Selena Gomez fansite saying that they will add all the content once I get it on its wheels. Yeah right, like that was going to happen.

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez part 2

Selena Gomez

Selena Gomez is easily one of the most popular teen stars to arrive on the entertainment scene. Gifted in singing and acting, the 18-year-old is also a solid influence on kids along with being an active philanthropist and advocate for those who are disadvantaged.

Selena Gomez

Born in New York, Gomez was raised in Texas where the star lived until she was 13-years-old. The future Disney actress debuted on the PBS show Barney and Friends until she was recruited by Disney at the age of 12. Gomez guest-starred on the show The Suite Life of Zach and Cody for one episode and she made her feature-length film debut as a "the girl in the water park", Robert Rodriguez film Spy Kids 3D: Game Over. From there, young Gomez guest-starred in three episodes of Miley Cyrus' Disney popular Disney show, Hannah Montana, where she played Hannah's rival Mikayla.

Selena Gomez

Gomez's signing career took off around the time of her debut on her own series, Disney Wizards of Waverly Place. She recorded three songs on the Disney label including her cover of Cruella De Vil. The song was made specifically for the release of 101 Dalmatians on DVD.

Selena Gomez

Because her career was taking off, Gomez was called "the next Miley Cyrus," a comparison Gomez was flattered by. Cyrus took to YouTube to openly mock Gomez and other Disney starlet Demi Lovato and their run of self-tapped fun. Everyone involved denies any ill-will.

Selena Gomez

She then starred in Another Cinderella Story in 2008. It was a direct-to-DVD release and was the sequel to the 2004 Hilary Duff feature. The movie was a surprise hit for the Mouse House. Following up on this success, Gomez did light voice work for Horton Hears a Who! two other films for Disney: Princess Protection Program (alongside her friend Demi Lovato) and the movie version of Wizards of Waverly Place.

Selena Gomez

But Disney isn't the only place to find Selena Gomez movies. Gomez will be starring in her first movie vehicle with Ramona and Beezus, which is based on the popular Ramona series from children's writer Beverly Cleary. Gomez will play Beezus, the older sister to Ramona. Romana is a 3rd grader with a lofty creativity and imagination. The features focuses on the family's house being taken away and Ramona, with the help of her sister, try to save it.

Selena Gomez

Her next project is the romantic comedy Monte Carlo from director acclaimed Tom Bezucha. It Gossip Girl's Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy and is based on the novel Headhunters by writer Jules Bass.

Selena Gomez

In the film the three women travels to Europe on vacation and it centers on two best friends who save up for a girl trip to Paris. The girls are joined by Grace's new step-sister. While in Paris, one of the trio is believed to to be British heiress and the three girls find themselves in the embroiled in media circus. Monte Carlo is easily one the biggest Selena Gomez movies to arrive in theaters.

Selena Gomez

While at the time of this article, Gomez is not attached to any future projects, it's clear that the popular singer and actress will be a powerful entertainer for years to come ad I'm sure there will be plenty more Selena Gomez movies.
