Lady GaGa Praises Lindsay Lohan's 'Liz and Dick' Performance Amidst Negative Reviews

Lindsay Lohan has gotten support from Lady GaGa after "Liz & Dick" earned negative reviews. While many critics slammed the Elizabeth Taylor telepic, the outlandish singer praised the actress' performance in the TV movie.

"@lindsaylohan you did a beautiful job on Liz & Dick," so the "You and I" singer tweeted on Monday, November 26. "Let no one bring u down, Liz didnt, they always try to knock the greats down a few pegs."

Lohan took to her own Twitter page to thank GaGa for her supportive words, writing, "@ladygaga thank you so much! You are such an incredible force and that means the world to me :) love & hugs xo hope to see you soon bella."

Chronicling the enduring love of movie icons Elizabeth Taylor (Lohan) and Richard Burton (Grant Bowler), "Liz & Dick" received generally negative reviews from contemporary film critics. Some celebrities also weighed in on the biopic.

"Lindsay Lohan had a better British accent in the parent trap and that is not a joke," model Chrissy Teigen tweeted. Singer Josh Groban commented, "OMG during half time I switched to 5 minutes of #LizAndDick and it's so awkwardly made, I feel embarrassed in my no-no place."

The TV movie posted an average of 3.5 million viewers and 1.3 million adults in the 18-49 demographic when it premiered Sunday, November 25. Though it's the fourth biggest audience for a movie airing on the channel, the ratings were lower than expected given the amount of press coverage the film received.

Lady GaGa Teases New Raunchy Clip for 'Cake'

Fans know that pop diva lady gaga is a provocative and outspoken icon in the music world and it is once again proven in the singer's teaser of her viral track, "Cake". The raunchy snippet that shows GaGa mostly just in her underwear was shot by famed celebrity photographer Terry Richardson and it looks like another potentially controversial video.

The teaser video, which clocks in at 14 seconds, shows enough visuals to make every viewer's imagination come to life. The "Born This Way" hitmaker raps about seemingly unconnected and random topics such as snatching wigs, her iced-out chain, and her "burqa swag" on the short snippet.

However, the lyrics do not matter as much as the vexing visuals of the Mother Monster crawling on the floor, practicing her suggestive stripper dance moves, and getting in a hot tub with two other scantily-clad women. All throughout the teaser, GaGa shows that she definitely has no qualms in displaying skin and body parts as she is filmed wearing just her underwear.

By now people know what to expect when the full version of "Cake" finally comes out. It will certainly contain a lot of titillating visuals, some girl-on-girl action in a tub, and more booty shaking for GaGa while she lip-syncs the song in her undies.

Lady GaGa is also currently working on her upcoming album, "ARTPOP", which is expected to hit stores early 2013

What's Up With Gaga? Head Tattoo, Pees in Pail at Perfume Launch "Sleeping With Gaga"

garde week in Gagaville! I'm Misty Monster, you're watching "What's Up With Gaga"! Let's start at the beginning of the week- Gaga was seen wearing a princess style dress and tiara in London Saturday night and we learned it was her record breaking dress that cost her $130,000! She had purchased the Alexander McQueen gown from Daphne Guinness at a charity auction.

The very next night in London, Gaga was spotted wearing a wedding gown again with a tiara, to the Paralympics Closing Ceremony After Party. (This has of course inspired my Gaga look today!) At the gala at the Arts Club in Mayfair Gaga wore a bridal gown with a long train and was spotted partying with Jay-Z, Rihanna, and Coldplay who had performed at the Closing Ceremony.

Next this week, Gaga posted a photo to LittleMonsters.com debuting her partially shaved head. Gaga shaved the back of her hair into an upside down "V" in honor of pal Terry Richardson's mother passing away. Terry is a dear friend of Gaga's and her roadside photographer. We learned today that Gaga has now tattooed the shaved part of her head with an angel, while at her "Fame" fragrance launch party in NYC.

Last night September 13th was Gaga's big "Fame" fragrance gala at the Guggenheim Museum. The masquerade-ball-themed party saw tons of celebs show up to support, including Lindsey Lohan, Yoko Ono, Paris Hilton, and more. Gaga arrived at the Guggenheim on the back of a black convertible and made her grand entrance after Steven Klein screened the mesmerizing short film he made in honor of the new scent. Guests were served blood red margaritas while Gaga was "sleeping" inside a giant "Fame" perfume bottle replica that was live streaming her nap on a huge screen. The guests were invited to touch Gaga's hand via a peep hole while she slept in the installation titled "Sleeping with Gaga".

After an hour of lying motionless, Gaga woke up to David Bowie's "Fame", peed in a pail, put on makeup and fooled around with an iPad while jamming to music trapped inside the bottle. Then she had a tattoo artist tattoo the back of her head with the angel while in the bottle! What a launch party that was! Do you guys think it was too much? Let us know! That's all your Gaga news this week, stay tuned next Friday for the next "What's Up With Gaga?" see you then!

Lady Gaga Shaves Her Head for Terry Richardson!

Lady Gaga pulls a Miley not a Britney, and shaves part of her hair off! We'll fill you in. Hey Little Monsters, welcome back to ClevverMusic. As you know, Lady Gaga often wears wigs, so we're not really sure how long or short her real hair is. But we do know, as of last night that Mother Monster has shaved off the back of her hair, and joined the partial-shave-bandwagon. She is the latest celeb to go drastic with a partial hair shaving new 'do.

In a photo posted to LittleMonsters.com to which Gaga also tweeted, it looks as if she has piled her hair high on her head in a bun, and snapped a pic of just the back. You can see in the photo the shaving comes to a point, making a triangle shape, or an upside down V, just above her neck. Also, in the photo we love that you can see on her laptop she is on LittleMonsters.com! The caption on the photo she posted reads: "I did it for u Terry. I'm sorry about ure Mommy. She has princess die but we were all princess high."

The Terry she is referencing is her famous photographer pal Terry Richardson who has done several photoshoots of the star while on her 'Born This Way Ball Tour' and whom she collaborated with on a coffee table photo book. Terry's mother, Annie Lomax, passed away yesterday on September 11th and Gaga is showing her support. "Princess Die" is a reference to Gaga's new song that will likely appear on her upcoming 'ARTPOP' album.

We love that Gaga's new hairstyle isn't the result of the latest trend (or a Britney disaster), but in honor of a dear friend's late mother. There's no doubt in our mind that Gaga is a great friend to those around her, she keeps proving it time after time. What do you think of Gaga's shaved head? just subscribe for all the latest music news, see you soon.

Lady Gaga New Terry Richardson Photoshoot!

Lady Gaga and Terry Richardson are at it again- and this time it involves feathers. Hey Little Monsters, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Lady Gaga is a favorite photography subject for famed photog Terry Richardson, and it seems he has tagged along on Gaga's "Born This Way Ball" once again.

New pics have surfaced on Terry's blog from Gaga's show backstage in Helsinki, Finland. We love the candid shots of Gaga running to a quick clothing change, texting, and getting her makeup done by her BFF Tara. There are also some interesting hotel shots added and we have to say they are kind of amazing. Is Gaga possibly channeling Nicki Minaj?

But the best recent photos from Terry's blog are from an impromptu shoot outside a Chanel store in Finland with Gaga in a Black Swan-all-out-feather getup. Gaga wears a feather headdress with a black cap and signature platform black heels.

We love this birdy look, but tell us what you think! You can check out all the photos on Terry's blog, we'll hook you up with a link to that. Be sure to keep it right here for more Gaga news! See you next time Little Monsters.

Lady Gaga Gets Naked in Ad for 'Fame', Her First Fragrance (Poll)

The performer's perfume is black to symbolize the dark side of fame and features random notes of belladonna, jasmine, orchid, honey, saffron and apricot nectar.

Lady Gaga has tweeted the provocative new ad for her first fragrance, called "Fame."

And surprise! She's not wearing slices of meat. However, she is shockingly naked -- except for a black mask and several creepy little men climbing on her bare body, strategically arranged to cover up her naughty bits.

"i won't lie I'm a bit nervous," she wrote in a Twitter post. "its been a while since i've shared some work with you."

The ad was shot by photographer Steven Klein. During an appearance on the Australian radio program The Kyle and Jackie O Show last year, she teased that signature scent will smell "like an expensive hooker."

"[Blood and semen] is in the perfume, but it doesn't smell like it. You just get sort of the 'after' feeling of sex from the semen, and the blood is sort of primal," she explained to the hosts. "And the blood was taken from my own blood sample, so it's like a sense of having me on your skin."

Thankfully, neither ingredient is listed on the packaging for her scent, the first-ever black eau de parfum which alludes to the dark side of fame.

Apparently, black scent is tricky. And according to WWD, Gaga's Fame has a trampoline struture, not a pyramid structure. Notes rise at different and random rates. Some accords will come out if you rub it, others will rise later.

Coty says Fame will smell differently on different people, but that's true of most fragrances.

Fame has three main accords: dark, sensual and light. The dark accord was inspired by the deadly plant belladonna, and features incense. The sensual accord includes honey, saffron and apricot nectar. The light accord features crushed tiger orchid and jasmine sambac. So imagine a fruity floral focused around belladonna. Thankfully, this sounds better than blood and semen.

Fame's eau de parfum will come in three sizes. The 100-ml. which retails for $79, the 50-ml., priced at $55, and the 30-ml., costing $42. A 10-ml. rollerball version will sell for just $19, which makes it accessible to all her fans.

The egg-shaped bottle has a weighty Gieger-esque gold claw cap. Remember the recent Grammy awards when Gaga burst out of an egg? Apparently, that red carpet stunt was a clue to her bottle design concept

The Fame collection will also include three related products: black soap, $15, due out in August, black shower gel, and black body lotion, hitting stores in November.

TV commercials are also coming. Photographer Steven Klein collaborated with Gaga to create a three-minute feature film promoting the scent, which will run online in the U.S. Gaga will make personal appearances globally to publicize the scent, and she's hosting a party on Sept 13 at the Guggenheim Museum in New York to introduce the scent to the media.

Gaga's Fame will be sold in 3,000 department and specialty stores in the U.S. — including Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Saks Fifth Avenue and Sephora, Ulta, Sephora in J.C. Penney locations.

How much will Gaga make from her Fame? Industry sources says around $15 million in royalties in a three- to five-year contract.

Now that smells like a sweet deal.

Lady Gaga New Album

Lady Gaga New Album Lacks "Maturity" She Says - New Release Music Albums

Gaga teases new details of her upcoming album at her show in Perth, Australia! Hey Little Monsters, welcome back to ClevverMusic. At her show in Perth, Australia Mother Monster had some interesting tidbits to share with the crowd about her upcoming album, a follow-up to 2011's "Born This Way."

Before launching into recently revealed new track "Princess Die" about the late Princess Diana, Gaga explained, "It's not about you, it's about me. This whole thing is about me," she joked about the song, "So I wrote this song and in a way it has a bit to do with the rest of the album..." She went on after the crowd antagonized her, "I feel that when I wrote 'Born This Way', I demonstrated a sense of maturity. And I feel that, on the next album, there's a lack of maturity, it's a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility."

Our take on this? We're glad to see Gaga is enjoying her life and all her success. We would be scared to hear she was taking herself too seriously. She is only 26 after all.

Gaga will be revealing the album title in September, a name she's supposedly had for awhile! You can watch Gaga's reveal at her show in Perth, click the link below. What do you think of Gaga's revelation? Tell us in the comment section below, and be sure to subscribe to ClevverMusic for all your Gaga news daily. Bye Little Monsters!
