Taylor Swift, will.i.am and More Artists Perform at KIIS Jingle Ball

Music giants Taylor Swift and will.i.am took the stage to perform some of their most loved hits of the year at 102.7 KIIS FM's Jingle Ball held at L.A.'s Nokia Theatre on Saturday, December 1. The two artists joined a long list of top performers such as Ne-Yo, Jonas Brothers, OneRepublic, and Ellie Goulding.

will.i.am came out as a big surprise for radio listeners as he replaced previously confirmed guest performer Maroon 5 that night. Earlier announcements from the station informed fans of a surprise guest which turned out to be the superstar rock band. However, on the night of the radio concert, frontman Adam Levine was stricken by a bad case of strep throat and could not make it to the show.

The Black Eyed Peas member performed some of his group's big hits including "Dirty Bit" and "Boom Boom Pow". He then gave great remixed renditions of Usher's "OMG" and his own single "This Is Love". This was followed by his latest colaboration with pop diva Britney Spears titled "Scream and Shout". "I want to see if you got energy," will told the live audience as the song kicked in. "Who got the energy? I'm gonna play this last song before I pass out. This song is featuring the queen Britney Spears."

Meanwhile, Swift, who headlined the radio concert event, closed the night's show with live renditions of her hit singles from the album "Red" including "I Knew You Were Trouble" and "State of Grace". "This is my second time playing the KIIS Jingle Ball... And this is the best one so far definitely. I have to be thankful for this holiday season thanks to you guys. I put out an album called Red and you've made that a very goodexperience," Swift said before ending her performance with the track "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together".

The second night of KIIS' Jingle Ball will take place on Monday evening again at the Nokia Theatre and will feature guests such as PSY, Fun., The Wanted, Flo Rida, and Justin Bieber.

Dr. Dre, U2 and Elton John Lead Forbes' List of 2012 Highest Paid Musicians

Forbes Magazine has just released its list of 2012's highest paid musicians and it shows an international cast of pop stars, hip-hop giants, and rock icons. Rap mogul Dr. Dre leads the pack of this year's top earners, followed by Pink Floyd's Roger Waters, The Rocketman Elton John, rock legendary group U2, and British boy band Take That. The list also shows that most of the artists' earnings came from their rigorous touring and live shows.

Dr. Dre did not have a new album released this year, but that did not stop the super producer from collecting dollars from his past records, concert productions, and of course his music accessory biz, headphones. Forbes reports that Dre took in $110 million from his Beats headphone line.

Meanwhile, Pink Floyd's founding member Roger Waters followed in as second top earner this year with $88 million, thanks to his successful The Wall Live tour. According to Billboard Boxscore, the 69-year-old musician grossed $131 million from November 2011 to May 2012 alone.

Another British music veteran, Elton John, made it as the third highest earner in 2012 with $80 million. Most of his income came from doing 100 shows during the scoring period, including a series of shows in Las Vegas.

Irish rockers U2 placed fourth with $78 million. The band are close to wrapping up their record-breaking 360 tour. The tour grossed $736 million over three years.

Rounding up the top five are British boy band Take That with $69 million. The group's reunion tour grossed a record $61 million for eight dates at London's Wembley Stadium. Their reunion gig was also the highest-grossing single-stadium stand put on record at that point and the band also played dozens of dates around Europe.

Britney Spears and will.i.am Premiere 'Scream and Shout' Video on 'X Factor'

The official visuals of Britney Spears and will.i.am's new colab "Scream and Shout" premiered on Wednesday, November 28 on the episode of "The X Factor (US)". The clip, which has a fine mix of dance moves and futuristic sets, matches the track's upbeat club tune. It also shows a very glammed-up Spears hitting the dance floor in multiplicity effects.

"Scream and Shout" kicks off with Spears' big, teased up do and figure-hugging dress which certainly erases all doubt about whether she still has that magnetic sex appeal. Black Eyed Peas' rapper will.i.am, on the other hand, is clad in bling-blings to highest level and is seen in shots of golden lights flickering away as he dances to his rap.

The Ben Mor, who also helmed music videos for Katy Perry and Black Eyed Peas, made sure to put a load of interesting scenes in this new project. The video contains some pretty cool futuristic sets and amazing high-speed cinematography such as two bottles hitting and breaking, some burning disco balls, exploding Lamborghini, a confetti-shooting gun, and loads of perfectly executed dance steps from Spears' and will's back-up dancers.

During the world premiere of the video on "X Factor", Spears could not help putting shy smile on her face, obviously feeling satisfied but at the same time a little bit embarrassed by the premiere of her video during her TV gig. Host Khloe Kardashian asked Spears how it was like working again with will and the singer replied, "He's like a big kid to work with. He's so much fun. We had a lot of fun." The two artists previously collaborated on the track "Big Fat Bass" included on Spears' "Femme Fatale" album.

Steven Tyler Apologizes for Nicki Minaj Comment, Denies Being Racist

Steven Tyler has offered his apology to Nicki Minaj after criticizing her judging skill on "American Idol". Appearing on Canadian entertainment talk show "eTalk" on Tuesday, November 27, the rocker claimed he wasn't being racist with his comment.

"I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki," so the Aerosmith vocalist stated. "But I am the farthest thing from [being a racist] ... I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don't know where she got that out of me saying I'm not sure how she would have judged Bob Dylan." He, however, insisted that "if Bob Dylan came on the show, he would've been thrown off."

Steven upset Nicki with his comment on her alleged feud with fellow "Idol" judge Mariah Carey backstage of the singing competition, where he previously also served as a judge. "You just have to give your opinion. It wasn't hard for me, but I would imagine it's hard for some people, and they need a manager to say 'Shut the f**k up, and just give them your opinion,' " he said.

"It needs to be judged by people that [are] honest, true, that have the 'it' factor. Not the 'it' factor because they can fight. The f**k is that all about?" He further underestimated Nicki's ability as a judge, claiming, "If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying."

The Harajuku Barbie then hit back at Steven, ranting on Twitter, "Steven, you haven't seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet." She went on writing, "I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with the producers. I haven't done anything to you. That's a racist comment. You assume that I wouldn't have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f**k yourself and worry about yourself babe."

Pitbull, Carly Rae Jepsen and More Confirmed for 'Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve'

Things are slowly coming together for this year's grand music spectacle "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve". Carly Rae Jepsen and Pitbull were just added to the long list of confirmed performers on the much-awaited new year's show. Taylor Swift was previously announced as one of the performers for the star-studded holiday event, which will be hosted by "American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest.

Among other big names who will be entertaining both the live and TV viewers are R'n'B queen Brandy, rapper Flo Rida, rock bands Neon Trees and OneRepublic, and pop duo Karmin. More performers and guests are expected to be announced as the grand holiday spectacle closes in. Jepsen, Neon Trees, Karmin, and Flo Rida were also recently seen providing some awesome performances at the 2012 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This year's "Rockin' Eve" show will also pay tribute to TV personality Dick Clark for his contributions to the entertainment industry. The tribute will come via a two-hour special hosted by Black Eyed Peas' member Stacy Ferguson a.k.a Fergie and actress/comedian Jenny McCarthy. Musicians and other industry celebrities will present clips of the "American Bandstand" host's long and fruitful television career to viewers alongside their remembrances of the late host.

Dick Clark created and hosted the live New York show for 33 years starting in 1974. The television host passed away in April this year at the age of 82. This year's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve" will take place in Times Square and will air live on ABC on December 31 starting at 10 P.M. ET.

Adele's '21' Album Reaches 10 Million in Sales

Adele's multi-awarded album "21" has reached yet another record-breaking achievement. This time, the English soul singer can brag about her album going over the 10 million sales mark this week. According to Nielsen SoundScan, "21" reached the milestone in just 92 weeks, or under two years.

Since its release back in February 2011, Adele's sophomore effort has continuously made its presence felt in the Billboard charts. It debuted on top of the Billboard 200 garnering sales of 352,000 copies and then relentlessly staying in the Top 10 for 80 weeks. Last week, the soul-pop set reeled in 28,000 more in sales pushing it to reach a total 10,020,000 units sold.

With the new numbers in hand, Adele's "21" fittingly becomes the 21st record to pass the 10 million sales mark. It also stands as the third album to hit those numbers in 2012. Usher's "Confessions" and Linkin Park's "Hybrid Theory" have also crossed the 10 million tally earlier this year.

Billboard also reported that the 11-track album is one of only eight sets to reach the record-breaking sales within a span of two years or 92 weeks. It joins other record-holders such as NSYNC's  "No Strings Attached" (43 weeks), Alanis Morissette's "Jagged Little Pill" (66 weeks), "The Bodyguard" soundtrack (72 weeks), Creed's "Human Clay" (93 weeks), Santana's "Supernatural" (60 weeks), Shania Twain's "Come on Over" (96 weeks), and Backstreet Boys' "Millennium" (39 weeks), which is also the fastest album to reach the 10 million mark.

Rihanna's 'Unapologetic' Takes Top Spot on Billboard Hot 200

It is official, Rihanna finally has a No.1 album with her latest effort "Unapologetic". The seventh studio album sold 238,000 copies in its first week according to Nielsen SoundScan. Before this achievement, Rihanna was holding the record for an artist with the most No.1 singles on the Hot 100 chart but without a No.1 album.

The 14-track set was released on November 19, and despite getting some mixed reviews from fans and music critics, Reuters still reported that it shot to the top of the iTunes charts in 43 countries. Billboard also added that the new album's numbers surpassed the Barbadian singer's previous best frame, 2010's "Loud", which debuted at No. 3 with 207,000.

In the meantime, the album's lead single "Diamonds" nabbed the top spot in the Billboard 100 chart last week and earned the 24-year-old performer her 12th No.1 single. The song joins other Rihanna No.1 singles such as "Umbrella", "S.O.S", "Live Your Life" (with T.I.), "Take a Bow", "Disturbia", "Only Girl (In the World)", "Rude Boy", "Love the Way You Lie" (with Eminem), "What's My Name" (with Drake), "S&M", and "We Found Love".

Rihanna has been working uber hard at promoting "Unapologetic", which also contains her controversial collaboration with ex-beau Chris Brown titled "Nobody's Business". She recently wrapped up her 777 Tour in support of the album. The tour comprised of "7 shows, in 7 countries, in 7 days."

50 Cent Debuts 'My Life' Clip Featuring Eminem and Adam Levine

50 Cent dropped his new clip for the track "My Life", and it shows him, rapper Eminem and Maroon 5's Adam Levine running from what looks like a massive "search and destroy" operation. The video, which premiered on MTV on Tuesday, November 27, brings a lot of filmic visuals that match the hard-hitting lyrics of the song.

"My Life" opens with some pretty amazing shots of great-looking architecture and exterior elements backlit by strong, directional searchlights coming from high above a roving chopper. Fif is revealed staring straight at the unknown enemy while Levine in seen hiding from a concrete enclave blurting out the song's catchy chorus.

Eminem enters the second part of the video with a chase scene set up outside their Detroit location. The hip-hop legend tries to stir clear from a helicopter that annoyingly showers him with an incredible amount of heavy spotlight while he raps away his contemplative rhymes.

The video was obviously shot on quite a hefty budget with all those roving helicopters, luxury cars, and realistic surveillance equipment. Though the trio were not seen altogether in one frame, the video did do a good job at intercutting the individual scenes of the three artists making it look like they were really being chased at the same time.

When it comes to understanding the visuals for the song, Eminem put it quite well when he said to MTV, "The video is kind of abstract; it's kind of metaphoric in a sense, like the paranoia of feeling like we're being chased." The Detroit emcee added, "Whether it's true or not, it's kind of how we feel. It's kind of a metaphor for us running for our lives. Personal lives and from fame, everything that goes with the game."

"My Life" is the third track from 50 Cent's fifth studio album "Street King Immortal", slated for an early 2013 release.

Ke$ha Streams Full 'Warrior' Album for Free on iTunes

Ke$ha has just made her full "Warrior" album available online for eager fans to lay their ears on. The "Die Young" singer tweeted about her new LP's free streaming on iTunes on Monday, November 26 and also has another new track online which features her collaboration with rock legend, Iggy Pop.

Though fans cannot have the new album in their hands until December 4, they can listen to their hearts' content and hear how the new effort boasts of more daring and heavy rock elements that Ke$ha seems to be really digging these days. Several tracks from the album have been leaked online and all point to a musical direction where one finds the 25-year-old Nashville native head banging, whistling, and just loving those synths more than one will ever hear on her 2010 debut set, "Animal".

In addition to the full album stream on iTunes, another new track "Dirty Love" landed online on Monday, and features the singer's heavy guitar riff collaboration with punk rock innovator, Iggy Pop. This track's title says it all as it sets aside any sexual innuendos and explicitly delivers nasty lines such as Pop's "Cockroaches do it in garbage cans," and "Santorum do it in a v-neck sweater." Ke$ha answers with "your f**king filthy love."

"Warrior" features other great collaborations from The Black Keys' Patrick Carne, Fun.'s Nate Ruess, The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne, Ben Folds, and Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am.

'The View' Host Calls Chris Brown's Twitter Feud 'Verbal Rape'

The tension on "The View" was a bit higher than usual when the hosts talked about Chris Brown's war of words on Twitter with Jenny Johnson. Elisabeth Hasselbeck looked emotional on the TV show, calling the R&B singer's tweets a verbal rape.

Sharing her opinion, she said, "I think it's disgusting, first of all. But also, it seems like verbal rape to me. And I think at some point there's gotta be a point where Twitter should ban anyone who writes anything forever on there and you should identify yourself."

She also said that what Jenny wrote should have never gone to any Twitter pages, because "it was vile, disgusting, and I stand by verbal rape". Meanwhile, Sherri Shepherd stated Chris "was wrong" and that he could provoke "the generation of young people" to do the same. She also blamed Jenny for provoking the feud.

Whoopi Goldberg, however, disagreed with Hasselbeck, who classified the 23-year-old R&B singer's tweets as a verbal rape. She said, "I disagree with verbal rape, I don't think that's verbal rape. I just think both was assault."

"Both were verbally assaulting each other, and that is what we need to get rid of on Twitter because it happens too often and too much to too many people," she went on. "I have to say if you're gonna mess with him [Chris], you have to expect to get your head handed to you."

"Now, I sort of feel like...if you feel like that and you don't wanna fight, don't do that, don't do that," the "Sister Act" actress added. "You wanna b***h at somebody, b***h at them because you don't like what they do. Have enough balls to say what you mean."

Chris had a vulgar Twitter feud with Jenny on Sunday, November 25. The "Yeah 3x" singer was angry when the comedienne commented, "I know! Being a worthless piece of s**t can really age a person," on his picture which he posted on Twitter with a caption read, "I look old as f**k! I'm only 23..."

The dispute continued with both sharing more vulgar words. As a result of the war of words, the "Beautiful People" singer shut down his Twitter account. The former boyfriend of Rihanna and Karrueche Tran got support from his fans, who cursed and threatened to kill Jenny.

Nelly Myers wrote down on Twitter, on Monday, November 26, "Do u wanna know what im gonna do now ? Im gonna kill that Jenny Johnson for making Chris delete his twitter." Another one tweeted, "@ jennyjohnsonhi5 w***e b***h. if chris kill you i will have more respect of him .. "

Another tweep, Olivera Miletic, said, "@JennyJohnsonHi5 Stfu b***h honestly, i wanna sit on your face and stab 1235 needles in your eyeball, you son of a motherless goat. #bushpig." A Twitter user named Team Breezy tweeted, "@ jennyjohnsonhi5 thanks to you!!! Chris has deleted his twitter!!!! I can f**kin kill you."

Britney Spears Shows Off Her Adorable New Puppy

Britney Spears has a new addition to her family. The new female judge of "The X Factor (US)" proudly shows off her new dog named Hannah on Twitter. "I want you all to meet my new little baby girl <3," she tweets. "How cute is she?!?!"

The pup has already had her own Twitter page with a short, yet appropriate bio "I'm Britney's B***h." Already having more than 9,000 followers and counting, she greets her fans, "Woof!" and exchanges "I Love You" notes with her famous mamma.

As if she's not cute enough, Hannah asks her followers for suggestion, "Should I wear a bow? Mom says I'm a princess & that I need a bow." In another post, she tweets a message, "What should I chase today, squirrel or chipmunk? Arf arf!"

Britney reportedly took Hannah to "The X Factor" set earlier this month. She hugged her pet in her chest while holding a drink. The adorable duo was recently spotted going out with Sean and Jayden, her two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.

The Rolling Stones Skip 'Satisfaction' Due to Strict London Music Curfew

Fans, who went to see The Rolling Stones during their 50th anniversary kickoff concert at London's O2 Arena, did not quite get the full satisfaction they were hoping for. The band decided to drop their world-famous hit "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" in compliance with the city's strict live music curfew which starts at 11 P.M.

According to reports from The Telegraph, the Stones were scheduled to wrap up their set with the 1965 hit song but could not make it before the 11 P.M. deadline. Instead, the legendary blues band finished off their first anniversary concert with another classic "Jumpin' Jack Flash". The show was supposed to start at 8 P.M. but was delayed 30 minutes, resulting to the band dropping their "Satisfaction" encore.

The Stones were not the only artists hit by the live music curfew in London. Rocker Bruce Springsteen and music great Paul McCartney also had to pack-up early when their mics were cut-off while playing together in a recent show in the British capital.

Even if the first show of the 50 and Counting tour of the Stones did not quite end the way it was expected to, the band still presented a triumphant performance during the November 25 comeback concert. The band's next tour dates will be on November 29, again at the O2 Arena, on December 13 and 15 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, and at New York's Barclay's Center on December 8.

50 Cent Releases 'My Life' Featuring Eminem and Adam Levine

Hip-hop giant 50 Cent unveiled his latest collaboration with Detroit-born rapper Eminem and Maroon 5's frontman Adam Levine. The new track titled "My Life", which was released on Monday, November 26, has some hard-hitting lines where the rappers openly talk about the pitfalls of fame and the constant feeling of wanting to run away from oneself.

In the song's lyrics, Fif and Eminem exchange contemplative rhymes about their shoot to fame and the pressures that come along with it especially if an artist wants to stay in the game. At the start of the track, the "Get Rich or Die Tryin' " artist refers to his 2003 rise and former G-Unit artists The Game and Young Buck. He tells them to "suck a d**k," and makes it clear that they took advantage of his creative talents back when he still wrote songs for them.

Meanwhile, Em goes retrospective with his works and blurts out lines such as, "Feels like I'm goin' psycho again, and I might just blow my lid/ And I almost wish that I never made Recovery, kid/ 'Cause I'm running circles with my life," referring to his 2010 hit album, "Recovery".

While the official clip for the song awaits its premiere on Tuesday, November 27 on MTV, Fif joined Maroon 5's Adam Levine on "The Voice" to perform the new single Monday night. Levine is featured on the catchy chorus section of the song.

"My Life" is the third single from 50 Cent's fifth studio album "Street King Immortal" and is now available for download on iTunes.

Some of my favorite shows are on HBO, so I am excited that my film will be part of its bold programming." She adds, "This film was so personal to me, it had to have the right home."

The yet-to-be-titled documentary will shed light on her childhood in Houston. Through "a fusion of video that provides raw, unprecedented access to the private entertainment icon and high-voltage performances," fans will also see "the intense physical and emotional demands she goes through in the studio, preparing for live performances, running a business and her family life, including her return to the spotlight after the birth of her daughter, Blue Ivy Carter."

Beyonce was included in VH1's list of the "100 Greatest Artists of All Time" in 2010 and ranked third on its "100 Greatest Women in Music" list this year. She's recently booked to headline Super Bowl XLVII's halftime show on February 3, 2013.

Cee-Lo Green and The Muppets Party in New Holiday Video 'All I Need Is Love'

"The Voice" mentor Cee-Lo Green has released another holiday video and this time some furry friends join in the fun. "All I Need Is Love" is the new upbeat and danceable track featuring Jim Henson's The Muppets and a cameo appearance from "The Office" star Craig Robinson as Santa Clause.

The Marc Klasfeld-directed video opens with Green arriving on his Rolls Royce convertible and gate crashing Kermit's Christmas party after getting lost in the middle of a snowstorm on his way to "Hotlanta". Little did the singer know that the complete cast of joyful and lovable Muppets, which all seem to be eager at opening their holiday presents, are there waiting to welcome him in the humble abode.

Viewers will surely smile at the sight of the cute and entertaining characters who make the party come to life, including Miss Piggy, Fozzie Bear, Animal, Swedish Chef, Rowlf, Bobo, Statler & Waldorf, and the new muppet Walter from 2011's "The Muppets".

Some funny highlights of the clip involve "Office" star Craig Robinson playing Santa and dropping down from the chimney, which prompts Walter to say, "So Santa's my homie!", and Green singing along with a muppet version of himself.

"All I Need Is Love" is bursting with colorful holiday visuals and boisterous scenes of Cee-Lo Green and The Muppets enjoying the Christmas season. This is definitely a clearer and less surreal video compared to Green's recent wacky clip of the 1970 Donny Hathaway yuletide classic "This Christmas".

Nicki Minaj Hits Back at Steven Tyler for Blasting Her 'American Idol' Judging Stint

Nicki Minaj gets tangled in another "American Idol" feud, but this time not with any of the current judges. She recently took to Twitter to fire back at former judge Steven Tyler, who criticized her behavior as a judge on the reality show.

"Steven Tyler said I would have sent Bob Dylan to a cornfield???" she took to Twitter to respond to the rocker's statement. "Steven, you haven't seen me judge one single solitary contestant yet."

She went on blasting the Aerosmith frontman, "I understand you really wanted to keep your job but take that up with the producers. I haven't done anything to you. That's a racist comment. You assume that I wouldn't have liked Bob Dylan??? why? black? rapper? what? go f**k yourself and worry about yourself babe."

Referencing to Mariah Carey's interview with Barbara Walters in which the "Hero" singer claimed Nicki threatened to shoot her, the Young Money femcee added, "LOL lets make him a shirt that says 'No Coloreds Allowed' then escort him down 2 Barbara Walters so he can tell how he was threatened w/guns. When Steven 1st went on Idol he was ridiculed by his peers & fans alike. Called a sell out. So what does he do? Ridicule the next judge."

In an interview with MTV News, Steven blasted Nicki and Mariah when commenting on their backstage drama. "You just have to give your opinion. It wasn't hard for me, but I would imagine it's hard for some people, and they need a manager to say 'Shut the f**k up, and just give them your opinion,' " he said.

"They should have something going on so thick and beautiful that they can lay it over the new talent that's trying to birth itself. It needs to be birthed, not judged by 'entertainment' factors. It needs to be judged by people that [are] honest, true, that have the 'it' factor. Not the 'it' factor because they can fight. The f**k is that all about?"

He further underestimated Nicki's ability as a judge, claiming, "These kids, they just got out of a car from the Midwest somewhere and they're in New York City, they're scared to death; you're not going to get the best [out of them]. ... If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying."
