Miley Cyrus has yet to cancel her wedding date

Miley Cyrus reportedly still hasn’t cancelled her wedding to Liam Hemsworth.

People magazine reports the 20-year-old star is “clinging to the hope” of a reconciliation with the actor. 

A source told the website that the couple have “split for now,” adding that Miley “seems exhausted” after events of recent weeks.

"She has no plans to see Liam but seems to be clinging to hope that they will get back together," the insider said. "Miley hasn't cancelled the wedding."

Liam, 23, has been relaxing in a new $1.6 million bachelor pad in his native Australia which his parents reportedly purchased for him last year.

The Hunger Games star has been spending time with friends and family in the beachside home, keeping a “low profile”, according to E! News.

"He seems in a relaxed mood — he doesn't seem especially sad [or] happy. He seems to be enjoying seeing his family as far as we can tell," a source told the website.

The famous couple were hit by reports that Liam was caught in a clinch with Mad Men star January Jones at a pre-Oscar soiree at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont last month.

Miley recently took to her Twitter page to deny reports of a split but has since been pictured without her engagement ring.

Speculation is mounting that Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth, who got engaged last summer, tied the knot in recent days after they posted festive photographs of themselves on Instagram in which they are both wearing what appear to be wedding bands.

According to gossip website TMZ.com, the 22-year-old The Hunger Games star is seen posing in the picture with a ring on his left ring finger that “looks suspiciously like a wedding band”.

Miley, 20, later posted a photo in which she also appears to be wearing two gold rings on her left ring finger, one of which is believed to be her engagement ring.

The couple have yet to comment, but no announcement has ever been made about a wedding date.

Earlier this year, the Can't Be Tamed singer claimed she was in no rush to wed as she already felt married and didn't feel any urgency about walking down the aisle.

She said, “I already feel married. I know we are forever. I don't need the paper right now. I don't know when we will get married yet. We are still enjoying being engaged. I've got so much planning to do with the tours and getting my record out. First I have my movie, then my record; then I'll do my wedding planning.”

The couple is believed to have spent Christmas with Miley's family in the US, but is also reportedly set to visit Liam's family in his native Australia over the holidays.

Miley Cyrus got the rumor mill going a few weeks ago with a series of sad posts on Twitter. Immediately, the Internet was abuzz with gossip that there was trouble between Miley and fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

On Sept. 13, the actress tweeted, “Thought of the day: maybe it's not that they love you less, they just love you the most they are capable of loving.” After fans got concerned, she followed up with “& no there is not trouble in paradise.... just thoughts.”

Although Cyrus, 19, quashed the rumors, sources told Star Magazine the tweets were a “huge insult to Liam.”

"She tried to pass it off like it had nothing to do with him, but it totally affected him, no matter what she tries to say,” the insider said. "She was trying to get his attention, but she just ended up making him pull away from her more. He thinks she’s acting like an immature schoolgirl, and he wants her to get off Twitter completely."

This wouldn’t be the first time Liam has urged his “Last Song” co-star to close her account. In 2009, at just 16, Miley tweeted, "FYI Liam doesn't have a Twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason.”

Liam Hemsworth is said to be growing impatient with fiancee Miley Cyrus as she is proving a distraction, while he works on his new film.

A recent report claimed that the 22-year-old Australian hunk wants the 19-year-old to return back to Los Angeles because she is proving to be 'too much of a distraction' on the sets of his new movie 'Paranoia' in Philadelphia.

A source on the set claims that all Liam wants to do is work, then rehearse his lines... but that Miley, 19, is hellbent on enjoying their time together.

"Miley is driving Liam crazy at the moment," a source told Radar Online.

"While he's on set in Philadelphia shooting his new film Paranoia, she gallivants around town shopping, getting pampered in nail salons and just can't sit still.

"Then, when she sees Liam after he's finished filming, she chews his ear off about her adventures and can't wait to tell him what she did that day.

"With the early starts and late finishes, all Liam wants to do is rest, go through his script so he's ready for his role and order a takeout or go for a quiet dinner.

"But Miley wants to go to the local gay bars and hit up fancy restaurants, which Liam just isn't in the mood for.

"And it doesn't help that Miley brought along their bulldog, Ziggy for the trip. Liam can't get a good night's sleep with Ziggy snoring next to him.

"So, Liam's told Miley that he's in Philadelphia to work and can't focus with her buzzing around him.

"He even suggested perhaps it was time for her to go back home," the source added.

Miley and Liam met on the set of 2009's The Last Song and have been inseparable ever since. He popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from renowned jeweller Neil Lane.

Not only did she tell Liam it had to stop, she even confronted Emma, reminding her that Liam is off the market. Miley more or less said, ‘Hands off my man!’ Emma couldn’t care less what Miley thinks. She makes fun of Miley behind her back, saying she’s just a washed up tween star. Emma feels she has nothing to lose, so she’s pushing it as far as she can with Liam. And he’s definitely enjoying the attention.”

Miley Cyrus tags along as Liam Hemsworth heads to Philadelphia to shoot a new film

Miley Cyrus is staying by her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth’s side while he films his next movie.

Cyrus, 19, and Hemsworth, 22, who got engaged early this summer, arrived in Philadelphia Tuesday. Hemsworth just wrapped up filming Empire State and is in Philadelphia to begin work on yet another film. According to The Gossip Girls, he’ll star in Paranoia with Harrison Ford.

The young couple arrived to the Philadelphia International Airport walking hand-in-hand with their dog Ziggy. Miley and Liam may be a happy couple together, but there was one thing that Miley wasn’t too pleased with when they arrived. Cyrus has been very vocal about how much she hates the presence of the paparazzi lately.

“I hate paparazzi with a passion. disgusting pigs. (no offense to pigs)” she recently tweeted. She also said it was “shady and scary” that they hung out outside her house waiting for a shot. The “Can’t be Tamed” singer’s arrival to Philadelphia was no different. She was followed while walking her dog after leaving the airport.

Miley Cyrus Goes Super Blonde!

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something…blonde? The engaged star debuted lightened up strands this weekend — and we have to wonder if she’s testing out lock looks for her upcoming nuptials.

On Saturday, Miley Cyrus Tweeted a photo (below) of her new hue, along with a caption poking fun at her new look: “Now that I’m blonde I gotta give duck lips in every photo.”

While skateboarding with her fiancé Liam Hemsworth in Los Angeles on Sunday, Cyrus gave onlookers a better view of her brighter hair color, which is a major departure from the auburn shade she’s been sporting this year. It also appears she trimmed off a few inches.

Miley Cyrus Flashes on First Red Carpet With Liam Hemsworth Post-Engagement

At Wednesday's Australians in Film Breakthrough Awards in Century City, Calif., Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made their first joint red carpet appearance since announcing their engagement last month.

And 19-year-old Cyrus, naturally, wore yet another eyebrow-raising ensemble: A skintight black mini-dress featuring unmissable cutouts, plus platform shoes, and newly straitened hair.

"It's called Zimmerman," the former Hannah Montana star told reporters. "It's from Australia. I love a little built-in corset, every girl does!"

Cyrus gushed that she was happy to be the supportive wife-to-be that night for honoree Hemsworth, 22. "I just wanted to wear something simple because tonight is all about him . . . "I'm super stoked for him. He's really happy and it's great!"

Although she wouldn't give any details on their future wedding, Cyrus, did explain what drew her to Hemsworth, whom she's been dating on and off for about three years. "I like when men work hard, I think it's important," she explained. "I always work really hard so it's good to have someone who is as passionate about what they do and wants to be great at what they do instead of just being OK. We always strive to have our 130%."

Hemsworth's Australian background doesn't hurt, either. "I think there's a masculinity about [Australian men] that's like growing up in the South, like I did. It's very respectful and they are a little bit more respectful."

Added Hemsworth of their engagement: "We're very, very excited, very happy!"

Miley Cyrus was recently photographed hanging out in a Miami pool with an unidentified man, leading some to wonder if all is well and good between the singer/actress and her fiancé, "Hunger Games" star Liam Hemsworth.

Cyrus and the man, who E! News reports is her friend and assistant Cheyne Thomas, were photographed on Wednesday in Miami, where Cyrus is currently working on new music. Her rep quickly shot down the rumors, saying, "There's no story there," and Cyrus herself even reacted to all the buzz about her swim with Thomas.

"Maybe YOU would have friends too if you'd get your face out the tabloids & start living your own life :) unfortunate."

Cyrus isn't just shooting down rumors about her love life. Days ago a snippet of what is reportedly her music leaked online. While the voice sounds a bit like Cyrus', she denied that the dance track sounds anything like the new music she's working on. She wrote, "That is most definitely not me or my style of new music."

Nikki Reed and Michael Angarano join Liam Hemsworth and Emma Roberts in “Empire State”

Liam Hemsworth thriller “Empire State” has rounded out its supporting cast with “Twilight” star Nikki Reed, Michael Angarano, “Entourage”‘s Jerry Ferrera, Paul Ben-Victor and Chris Diamantopoulos, according to Deadline.

Dwayne Johnson and Emma Roberts had already been cast in the heist thriller described to be based on “the true story of a 1982 NYC armored car company robbery thought at the time to be the largest cash heist in U.S. history.” Hemsworth plays one of two friends who pull off the daring heist in the 1980s-set thriller. No word who the other friend may be (our guess is on Angarano), though Roberts will play a waitress and Hemsworth’s love interest, while Diamantopoulo will play a mob boss who suspects the two youngsters while the rest of New York believes it was a major mob conspiracy. Production begins next Tuesday in New York, with Dito Montiel directing from an Adam Mazer script.

Reed appears in the final installment of the “Twilight” saga, “Breaking Dawn: Part II”, this November. Angarano was last seen in Steven Soderbergh’s “Haywire” and recently completed two indie comedies, “The Brass Teapot” opposite Juno Temple and “The English Teacher” opposite Julianne Moore and Lily Collins.

Miley Cyrus On Ex Nick Jonas: “My Life Is Ruined Because He Doesn’t Love Me Back”

Miley Cyrus reveals that first love, Nick Jonas, wanted to control her and made her feel like she wasn’t pretty or good enough to date him.

Two thousand and seven was the best of times and the worst of times for the teen queen. Before there was Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez, there was Nick and Miley. The baby-faced pair hooked up at the height of their Disney fame in their early teens and had the unfortunate pleasure of filling the gaping Disney sweetheart void devastatingly relinquished by Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake. And like most young romances, it was cataclysmic and earth shattering… until it wasn’t anymore. The couple called it quits leaving the pop princess alone and deflated.

“I was so sad. I just went into this weird funk. And I dyed my hair black. When we were dating, Nick wanted me to get highlights – and so I did that, and I got myself looking great,” Miley told Amanda de Cadenet on her Lifetime show. “And then, on the day we broke up, I was like, I want to make my hair black now – I don’t want to look pretty; I want to look hard-core. I was rebelling against everything Nick wanted me to be. And then I was like, I’ve got to be by myself for now, and just figure out who I really am.”

But despite the soul searching, Miley said her self-confidence plummeted.

“That was what love was to me. I was in love with somebody. I was in love with this person that I thought was perfect, and so amazing and so when you get your heart broken that’s all you see: The rest of my life is ruined because he doesn’t love me back,” she explained. “He doesn’t think I’m pretty, then I’m not pretty. He doesn’t think I’m worth his time, I’m not worth anyone’s time. That kind of thing. So I think just remember that ‘this too shall pass’ and it’s not the end of the world … You got to keep going. It’s generic, but it’s true. It’s a big something to remember.”

Ultimately, Miley did keep going and hooked up with the relative unknown co-star of her movie, The Last Song, Liam Hemsworth. And Miley’s never looked so happy, although she’s still fending off those pesky weight rumors.

Despite the rumors, Miley has a good, albeit lollipop-looking, head on her shoulders. I think people secretly want her to pull a Britney and start stabbing umbrellas at paparazzi but I don’t see that happening anytime soon. She kind of reminds me of Gwyneth Paltrow – she only dates actors on the upswing. Gwyneth got Brad Pitt in his hot heyday; Luke Wilson in the fresh, Wes Anderson hysteria; Ben Affleck after Good Will Hunting and Chris Martin when Coldplay was still considered indie rock. Miley snagged Nick in the height of Jonas Brothers mania and is currently dating one of the most in demand young actors in Hollywood. Now, all she needs is 1995 Gwyneth-type movie offers and she’ll be all right.

Puppy Love! Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth take newest pooch to the vet

They are avid animal lovers and Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth recently adopted their fourth dog.

And while little Happy is no doubt delighted to be welcomed into such a loving home, it seems he needed to go for a check-up to make sure everything is running smoothly.

Miley, 19, was spotted carrying her adorable pooch as she and 22-year-old beau Liam took a trip to the vet.

It certainly seemed there was nothing to worry about as the couple appeared in good spirits and were smiling as they walked the short distance from their car to the animal hospital.

However Happy wasn't quite living up to his namesake and looked a little worried as his superstar owner cradled him in her arms.

Miley was dressed casually in a grey cardigan and matching top, along with skinny jeans.

She also tied her brunette locks into a high bun and accessorised with orange ballet pumps.

And the LOL star was also showing off her newest accessory after piercing her nose earlier this week and debuting the ring two days ago.

Liam looked hunky as he arrived at the vet with his girlfriend and their pooch today, sporting a dove grey jumper, jeans and a black baseball cap.

Miley brought the dog home last week after he was found abandoned outside a supermarket.

The Hannah Montana star explained on Twitter: 'He was left in a box in front of Walmart. I don't understand how people can be so cruel. That's why we named him Happy."

She believes the pup is a possible Rottweiler-beagle mix, and she said he has gone 'from cardboard to Maison Martin Margiela.'

Miley already owned three other dogs, Lila, Floyd and Ziggy, and is an advocate of adoption.
