Miley Cyrus has yet to cancel her wedding date

Miley Cyrus reportedly still hasn’t cancelled her wedding to Liam Hemsworth.

People magazine reports the 20-year-old star is “clinging to the hope” of a reconciliation with the actor. 

A source told the website that the couple have “split for now,” adding that Miley “seems exhausted” after events of recent weeks.

"She has no plans to see Liam but seems to be clinging to hope that they will get back together," the insider said. "Miley hasn't cancelled the wedding."

Liam, 23, has been relaxing in a new $1.6 million bachelor pad in his native Australia which his parents reportedly purchased for him last year.

The Hunger Games star has been spending time with friends and family in the beachside home, keeping a “low profile”, according to E! News.

"He seems in a relaxed mood — he doesn't seem especially sad [or] happy. He seems to be enjoying seeing his family as far as we can tell," a source told the website.

The famous couple were hit by reports that Liam was caught in a clinch with Mad Men star January Jones at a pre-Oscar soiree at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont last month.

Miley recently took to her Twitter page to deny reports of a split but has since been pictured without her engagement ring.

Avril Lavigne Engagement Ring 'Worth $350,000'

Avril Lavigne's engagement ring is reportedly worth a cool $350,000.

Following the shock announcement that Lavigne had accepted Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger's marriage proposal, it has now emerged that the rocker splashed a lot of cash on the ring.

Speaking of the sparkler, jewellery expert Michael O'Connor told US Weekly: "A pear shape diamond set in platinum is a nod to vintage glamour and individuality - perfect for a rocker like Avril.

"The half-moon diamonds are also rare since they would have to be specially cut to fit on either side of the centre diamond. The centre diamond is approximately 10 carats, with an additional four carats of total side diamonds."

The couple have since been spotted celebrating their engagement in Las Vegas, with reports claiming they knocked back bottles of champagne and vodka at the 1OAK nightclub.

An onlooker told Life & Style magazine: "They went to 1 Oak Nightclub in Las Vegas on Aug. 21 to celebrate their engagement.

"Avril arrived first with a bunch of male friends and bodyguards, then Chad showed up later and met them inside. Avril was so excited to see her man.

"They were super cuddly and affectionate. They drank Dom Pérignon and Grey Goose.'She can pound the vodka."

Despite the initial surprise that the 27-year old had become engaged to Kroeger, pals have since told People that they are the perfect match.

The insider said: "They have the same values and really understand each other. They complement each other and are so happy."

Avril and Chad have since spoken of their engagement in an interview with HELLO! Canada, where Kroeger revealed: "I knew I was falling for her. It was incredibly powerful and something I'll never forget."

Lavigne - who was previously married to Sum 41 star Deryck Whibley - added: "He makes me laugh every day. He takes care of me in every way and is extremely attentive."

Miley Cyrus, a distraction for Liam Hemsworth

Liam Hemsworth is said to be growing impatient with fiancee Miley Cyrus as she is proving a distraction, while he works on his new film.

A recent report claimed that the 22-year-old Australian hunk wants the 19-year-old to return back to Los Angeles because she is proving to be 'too much of a distraction' on the sets of his new movie 'Paranoia' in Philadelphia.

A source on the set claims that all Liam wants to do is work, then rehearse his lines... but that Miley, 19, is hellbent on enjoying their time together.

"Miley is driving Liam crazy at the moment," a source told Radar Online.

"While he's on set in Philadelphia shooting his new film Paranoia, she gallivants around town shopping, getting pampered in nail salons and just can't sit still.

"Then, when she sees Liam after he's finished filming, she chews his ear off about her adventures and can't wait to tell him what she did that day.

"With the early starts and late finishes, all Liam wants to do is rest, go through his script so he's ready for his role and order a takeout or go for a quiet dinner.

"But Miley wants to go to the local gay bars and hit up fancy restaurants, which Liam just isn't in the mood for.

"And it doesn't help that Miley brought along their bulldog, Ziggy for the trip. Liam can't get a good night's sleep with Ziggy snoring next to him.

"So, Liam's told Miley that he's in Philadelphia to work and can't focus with her buzzing around him.

"He even suggested perhaps it was time for her to go back home," the source added.

Miley and Liam met on the set of 2009's The Last Song and have been inseparable ever since. He popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from renowned jeweller Neil Lane.

Kristen Stewart 'Wants Babies With Robert Pattinson'

Kristen Stewart is feeling broody and apparently she wants a baby with beau Robert Pattinson, according to reports.

The Hollywood couple, who recently attended this year's Comic-Con in San Diego, were guests at a pal's wedding when she started talking to a pregnant guest, where she revealed that she wants a baby with Robert Pattinson.

A source has reportedly told Us Weekly: "Kristen was talking to a pregnant guest at a friend's wedding and told her that she would love to have a baby with Rob."

She also added: "She thought it was so cool - at one point she touched the woman's belly to feel the baby kick."

The couple have some sort of parenting skills, well they had to act as parents to Renesmee in the new 'Twilight' movie 'Breaking Dawn - Part Two'.

A source revealed that they are getting quite serious on the topic of babies. "They would talk about how they would raise their own children," the insider reportedly said.

"Kristen would say, 'Well, I'd never do this or that.' Sometimes it would start off as a joke, but you knew they were really thinking about it."

According to another insider the couple are madly in love, and Kristen is definitely 'The One'. "He is over-the-moon in love with Kristen," they said. "For him, she's The One, so it's just a matter of when they decide to have kids."

Miley Cyrus Flashes on First Red Carpet With Liam Hemsworth Post-Engagement

At Wednesday's Australians in Film Breakthrough Awards in Century City, Calif., Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made their first joint red carpet appearance since announcing their engagement last month.

And 19-year-old Cyrus, naturally, wore yet another eyebrow-raising ensemble: A skintight black mini-dress featuring unmissable cutouts, plus platform shoes, and newly straitened hair.

"It's called Zimmerman," the former Hannah Montana star told reporters. "It's from Australia. I love a little built-in corset, every girl does!"

Cyrus gushed that she was happy to be the supportive wife-to-be that night for honoree Hemsworth, 22. "I just wanted to wear something simple because tonight is all about him . . . "I'm super stoked for him. He's really happy and it's great!"

Although she wouldn't give any details on their future wedding, Cyrus, did explain what drew her to Hemsworth, whom she's been dating on and off for about three years. "I like when men work hard, I think it's important," she explained. "I always work really hard so it's good to have someone who is as passionate about what they do and wants to be great at what they do instead of just being OK. We always strive to have our 130%."

Hemsworth's Australian background doesn't hurt, either. "I think there's a masculinity about [Australian men] that's like growing up in the South, like I did. It's very respectful and they are a little bit more respectful."

Added Hemsworth of their engagement: "We're very, very excited, very happy!"

Robert Pattinson engaged to Kristen Stewart?

Twilight star Robert Pattinson has reportedly proposed his girlfriend Kristen Stewart with an emerald ring. The 26-year-old actor is said to have splashed the cash on a "beautiful emerald ring" for Stewart and the couple are planning to wed later this year, reported 

"It's a beautiful emerald ring. He's a real romantic and loves to take an opportunity to remind her that she's the one. He gave her a ring because he adores her and wants to marry her," a source said.

"They want their wedding to be authentic, with soul. It's important for him that music be a big part of the wedding. He's writing a song for her and plans to perform it on the vintage Fender guitar she bought him for Christmas last year," the source added.
