Miley Cyrus has yet to cancel her wedding date

Miley Cyrus reportedly still hasn’t cancelled her wedding to Liam Hemsworth.

People magazine reports the 20-year-old star is “clinging to the hope” of a reconciliation with the actor. 

A source told the website that the couple have “split for now,” adding that Miley “seems exhausted” after events of recent weeks.

"She has no plans to see Liam but seems to be clinging to hope that they will get back together," the insider said. "Miley hasn't cancelled the wedding."

Liam, 23, has been relaxing in a new $1.6 million bachelor pad in his native Australia which his parents reportedly purchased for him last year.

The Hunger Games star has been spending time with friends and family in the beachside home, keeping a “low profile”, according to E! News.

"He seems in a relaxed mood — he doesn't seem especially sad [or] happy. He seems to be enjoying seeing his family as far as we can tell," a source told the website.

The famous couple were hit by reports that Liam was caught in a clinch with Mad Men star January Jones at a pre-Oscar soiree at West Hollywood’s Chateau Marmont last month.

Miley recently took to her Twitter page to deny reports of a split but has since been pictured without her engagement ring.

Her 13-year-old sister, who is a big fan of One Direction was celebrating her birthday when Cyrus posted the picture.

"I love my little Bean so much," she tweeted of her new pooch.

She explained on Thursday, "Bean is a little girl :) she is a Chihuahua mix of some type :) she brought so much sunshine!!!"

She added shots calling Bean her "little burrito" and her "baby."

The adoption from Los Angeles' Spot! dog rescue organization comes just weeks after Miley lost her beloved Yorkie, Lila, who was accidentally killed by her dog Ziggy. Miley also has Rottweiler-beagle mix Happy; German shepherd Mate; Alaskan klee kai Floyd; and rescue pup Mary Jane.

So undercover movie review

OMG. She's, like, so undercover. Miley Cyrus's transition from music to movie star continues apace with this rather formulaic romp. While the movie might be crap, the truth is Cyrus comes out on top and shows she has a future in fronting teenybopper movies for some time yet.

Cyrus plays a teenage private investigator who, used to snooping on cheating husbands, graduates to the big leagues when Jeremy Piven's FBI agent asks her to go undercover at the local college. Her mission is to infiltrate a sorority to protect the daughter of a mobster (McKnight) who may or may not have evidence that can put a mob boss away. Or something like that. But the potential killer could be anyone and some serious poking about is needed to uncover the imposter.

From the off it's all rather obvious who the imposter is and there isn't enough fun and games to distract from the inevitably of it all. The romance with Joshua Bowman is tossed in for the sake of it and Cyrus's ward, McKnight, might as well not exist. Honestly, when something happens to a girl called Alex midway through, I had no idea that Alex was the girl Cyrus was meant to protect. Roommate Kelly Osbourne shows up every so often with the worst English accent for some time. With a Brummy dad in Ozzy, Kelly opts for a toff Chelsea lilt. But in some scenes it looks like her lines have been dubbed by someone else. So how much is her and how much is the voiceover? And how bad was her original stab?

But So Undercover surprisingly throws up the odd funny moment. When told her name will be Brooke Stonebridge, Cyrus reckons it sounds more like a gated community than a name; the ditsy Cotton's (Megan Park) stupidity gets the sniggers it's after; and Bowman has one of the lines of the year: when told the French can be forgiven, he comes back with 'tell that to the Algerians!' What? Where did that come from?

Cyrus herself is immune to the crap. She's watchable, and not just a substitute for Amanda Bynes.

Singer-actress Miley Cyrus has cut off - literally - whatever's left of her Hannah Montana image. She chopped off her hair, presenting a "new" person that she feels is true to herself.

On Monday, Miley tweeted a picture of Hollywood hairstylist Chris McMillan holding a pair of scissors next to her bunned-up hair.

She followed up that post with a tweet: "It's happening". Many fans replied, persuading her not to chop of her long tresses.

Annoyed, she replied, tweeting: "If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all. My hair is attached to my head no one else's and it's going bye bye. :)" This tweet was followed by another picture from Chris' instagram account showing him about to cut Miley's hair.

Three hours later, the 19-year-old revealed a picture of her new punk-pixie style undercut hair. She looked almost like a different person compared to the familiar image of her in long brown or blonde hair.

Over the next few days, the soon-to-be bride posed pictures of her new hairstyle and commented how she "never felt more me" in her life.

Fans are split over whether they love or hate her new do. Some have complimented her, saying that she looks hot and is able to carry the look. Others have compared it to Britney's stunt where she shaved her hair bald.

Miley has defended her choice against detractors, quoting her dad Billy Ray Cyrus that everyone has an opinion.

While it may seem shocking, it is reasonable for someone her age to change their hair drastically. Many teenagers go through similar phases experimenting with different styles.

The teen star does have the edginess and spunk to pull off the look. She is not the only celebrity to have cut their long tresses short into pixie styles. Harry Potter star Emma Watson got a short pixie cut in 2010 after filming for the series and her endorsement for Burberry ended. 11-year-old Willow Smith shaved her hair off and dyed it in different colours.

Liam Hemsworth is said to be growing impatient with fiancee Miley Cyrus as she is proving a distraction, while he works on his new film.

A recent report claimed that the 22-year-old Australian hunk wants the 19-year-old to return back to Los Angeles because she is proving to be 'too much of a distraction' on the sets of his new movie 'Paranoia' in Philadelphia.

A source on the set claims that all Liam wants to do is work, then rehearse his lines... but that Miley, 19, is hellbent on enjoying their time together.

"Miley is driving Liam crazy at the moment," a source told Radar Online.

"While he's on set in Philadelphia shooting his new film Paranoia, she gallivants around town shopping, getting pampered in nail salons and just can't sit still.

"Then, when she sees Liam after he's finished filming, she chews his ear off about her adventures and can't wait to tell him what she did that day.

"With the early starts and late finishes, all Liam wants to do is rest, go through his script so he's ready for his role and order a takeout or go for a quiet dinner.

"But Miley wants to go to the local gay bars and hit up fancy restaurants, which Liam just isn't in the mood for.

"And it doesn't help that Miley brought along their bulldog, Ziggy for the trip. Liam can't get a good night's sleep with Ziggy snoring next to him.

"So, Liam's told Miley that he's in Philadelphia to work and can't focus with her buzzing around him.

"He even suggested perhaps it was time for her to go back home," the source added.

Miley and Liam met on the set of 2009's The Last Song and have been inseparable ever since. He popped the question on May 31 with a 3.5-carat diamond ring from renowned jeweller Neil Lane.

Miley Cyrus is staying by her fiancé, Liam Hemsworth’s side while he films his next movie.

Cyrus, 19, and Hemsworth, 22, who got engaged early this summer, arrived in Philadelphia Tuesday. Hemsworth just wrapped up filming Empire State and is in Philadelphia to begin work on yet another film. According to The Gossip Girls, he’ll star in Paranoia with Harrison Ford.

The young couple arrived to the Philadelphia International Airport walking hand-in-hand with their dog Ziggy. Miley and Liam may be a happy couple together, but there was one thing that Miley wasn’t too pleased with when they arrived. Cyrus has been very vocal about how much she hates the presence of the paparazzi lately.

“I hate paparazzi with a passion. disgusting pigs. (no offense to pigs)” she recently tweeted. She also said it was “shady and scary” that they hung out outside her house waiting for a shot. The “Can’t be Tamed” singer’s arrival to Philadelphia was no different. She was followed while walking her dog after leaving the airport.

Miley also found an opening in her schedule to work on a project with a sibling — Miley's in her brother Trace's new video for the song "Sippin on Sunshine." Another of the Cyrus kids, Braison, was in the news this week after their dad Billy Ray tweeted a photo of him in a hospital. Eighteen-year-old Braison Cyrus is OK after suffering complications from a tonsil extraction surgery.

Something old, something new, something borrowed and something…blonde? The engaged star debuted lightened up strands this weekend — and we have to wonder if she’s testing out lock looks for her upcoming nuptials.

On Saturday, Miley Cyrus Tweeted a photo (below) of her new hue, along with a caption poking fun at her new look: “Now that I’m blonde I gotta give duck lips in every photo.”

While skateboarding with her fiancé Liam Hemsworth in Los Angeles on Sunday, Cyrus gave onlookers a better view of her brighter hair color, which is a major departure from the auburn shade she’s been sporting this year. It also appears she trimmed off a few inches.

London: Miley Cyrus has got a quote by former US president Theodore `Teddy` Roosevelt inked on her forearm, bringing her total body art tally to around 15.
The tattoo reads: “So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who neither know victory nor defeat.”

Roosevelt’s quote has been taken from ‘Citizenship In A Republic’ speech that he gave in Paris, France, in 1910, the Sun reported.

The line referred to those who stood on the sidelines criticising others while never attempting anything of value themselves.

The singer/actress also took the opportunity to parade her flat belly in her crop top as she left her Pilates class in Los Angeles.

Cyrus teamed her top with a pair of sensible shoes and leggings.

At Wednesday's Australians in Film Breakthrough Awards in Century City, Calif., Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth made their first joint red carpet appearance since announcing their engagement last month.

And 19-year-old Cyrus, naturally, wore yet another eyebrow-raising ensemble: A skintight black mini-dress featuring unmissable cutouts, plus platform shoes, and newly straitened hair.

"It's called Zimmerman," the former Hannah Montana star told reporters. "It's from Australia. I love a little built-in corset, every girl does!"

Cyrus gushed that she was happy to be the supportive wife-to-be that night for honoree Hemsworth, 22. "I just wanted to wear something simple because tonight is all about him . . . "I'm super stoked for him. He's really happy and it's great!"

Although she wouldn't give any details on their future wedding, Cyrus, did explain what drew her to Hemsworth, whom she's been dating on and off for about three years. "I like when men work hard, I think it's important," she explained. "I always work really hard so it's good to have someone who is as passionate about what they do and wants to be great at what they do instead of just being OK. We always strive to have our 130%."

Hemsworth's Australian background doesn't hurt, either. "I think there's a masculinity about [Australian men] that's like growing up in the South, like I did. It's very respectful and they are a little bit more respectful."

Added Hemsworth of their engagement: "We're very, very excited, very happy!"

A family friend of Miley’s suffers from cystic fibrosis, and dedicated her first tattoo to them.

Miley then followed up with some smaller tats, including an anchor on her pinky and “love” on her inner ear, but then got one of her largest ones to date — a dream catcher on the right hand side of her rib cage.
