Amazing Video of Coronal Rain Released By NASA, Beautiful Solar Eruption And Flare, MUST WATCH (VIDEO)

Video of the coronal plasma rain on the Sun that we reported on earlier has now been released by NASA. The amazing video shows the event throughout its formation and duration, it’s awesome. There is a very wide variation in the types of eruptive events that occur on the Sun, even if you’ve already watched videos of solar eruptions before this one stands out.

“On July 19, 2012, an eruption occurred on the sun that produced all three. A moderately powerful solar flare exploded on the sun’s lower right limb, sending out light and radiation. Next came a CME, which shot off to the right out into space. And then, the sun treated viewers to one of its dazzling magnetic displays – a phenomenon known as coronal rain.”
“Over the course of the next day, hot plasma in the corona cooled and condensed along strong magnetic fields in the region. Magnetic fields, themselves, are invisible, but the charged plasma is forced to move along the lines, showing up brightly in the extreme ultraviolet wavelength of 304 Angstroms, which highlights material at a temperature of about 50,000 Kelvin. This plasma acts as a tracer, helping scientists watch the dance of magnetic fields on the sun, outlining the fields as it slowly falls back to the solar surface.”

The film was gathered by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory’s Atmospheric Imaging Assembly (AIA) instrument. “SDO collected one frame every 12 seconds, and the movie plays at 30 frames per second, so each second in this video corresponds to six minutes of real time. The video covers 12:30 a.m. EDT to 10:00 p.m. EDT on July 19, 2012.”
The best part of the video is watching how the magnetic lines gather and direct the Sun’s energy in those twisting patterns. Very cool.

Kristen Stewart Admits: ‘I’m Pretentious'

Kristen sure doesn’t ever act pretentious or look pretentious. So why does she say this about herself? Read on.
Kristen Stewart stays true to herself on screen. The 22-year-old says she knows she sounds “pretentious” by revealing just how choosy she can be when picking roles like her lead in On The Road or Snow White and the Huntsman. But she has a pretty good explanation – here’s why!

“I’m not in the entertainment industry, I don’t do that,” she says. “It sounds so pretentious but it’s kind of the only way I can do that, I’m so not a performer, things need to be … things need to feel so important. That if you don’t do it you feel you’re failing everyone … that you’re depriving the world of something that really mattered to you and really affected you and it’s worth it.”

We told you that her boyfriend Robert Pattinson called himself pretentious as well — these two seem to even think alike!

Kristen Stewart Says 'Snow White' Is 'Everything I Wanted'

Those familiar with the Hollywood moviemaking process likely know that what is first scripted on the page, and then performed by the actors, and then released unto the masses doesn't always turn out to be an accurate representation of what was initially written. Scripts change, performances alter. In short, after an actor wraps their work on any particular production, they can't be totally sure about what will end up on screen until they see a finished cut of the film.

That does not seem to be the case with the highly anticipated "Snow White and the Huntsman", in that star Kristen Stewart recently revealed that director Rupert Sanders' brilliant plans became a brilliant film.

"I was so excited," Stewart said of her reaction upon seeing the finished product. What's unique, she said, is that the movie is just as "cool" as its concept art — the sketches, storyboards or short videos that directors and producers often assemble in order to sell studios and actors on the concept behind a movie.

"That's the way Rupert Sanders got the job as director of this movie, by putting together a five-minute version of the movie and presenting the darkness and lightness of the world. I thought that it was insane because it felt like two different people did it, it was so, so beautiful when it was light and so exuberantly happy, and then when it was dark it was wretched and disgusting. I think when I first saw the movie I saw that. It was like, 'Wow.' Everything I wanted it to feel like, everything I wanted to say, it's there."

Kristen Stewart Admits She's 'Overtly Aware' Of Her Insecurities, interview video

On Tuesday night's "MTV First: Snow White and the Huntsman," MTV News' Josh Horowitz caught up with Kristen Stewart, Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron and Sam Claflin to get the juicy details behind their highly anticipated summer flick. The cast was in good spirits as Horowitz took them through a series of rapid-fire questions known as the "Yes/No Show" and Theron joked about how battling her costumes was more difficult than fighting Stewart.

But the actors also discussed the more serious topic of insecurities and their perception of beauty. As the underlying message of the film deals with the notion of beauty and outward appearance, Horowitz asked, "[As actors,] are you naturally vain people? Can you look in the mirror and not feel insecure like the rest of us?"

He threw the question to Hemsworth, who replied, "I think we all have our insecurities and whatever. Do I like who I see in the mirror? Yeah, I like myself because I feel like I'm a good person, and I think in the film, the Queen is there and obsessed with beauty on the surface. I think the message is it's what's underneath that counts and that's what's going to survive and conquer at the end of the day."

Hemsworth's co-star Stewart was thrust into the spotlight upon her unexpected "Twilight Saga" fame. With her privacy invaded and gossip blogs picking apart every outfit and hairstyle choice, you'd think the actress would get wrapped up in her insecurities. But the actress said she's feels secure in herself and Theron echoed that sentiment: "You are," the "Young Adult" actress said of Stewart. "I can say that. Seriously, it's incredible. I never had that at her age."

And while Stewart still gets nervous like the rest of us, she gives credit to her parents for raising her well and teaching her that self-worth doesn't come from appearances. "I'm still fully and completely overtly aware of my insecurities. My palms are sweating right now," she said. "I was raised well. My parents are really great. They've always told me the right things about how you should feel — I mean, there's no should. That was the whole thing: 'Be yourself, baby doll.' "

Theron chimed in: "And, in a way, the film almost has that because Snow White's mother basically tells her, 'What you have here is special and good, and don't ever lose that.' And it's the encouragement of 'Be a good a person.' And Ravenna, the evil queen, has a mother that basically tells her the only way you will survive in this world is through beauty and youth.

"I think those are the things that guide you in a way, so if you're being told that, and you go through life having that be the importance of your existence or your success, than that's what it's going to be."

In the movie, Ravenna says that men use women and then discard them. Theron said that while those words might not mirror her view on men, it was some of her favorite writing in the script, and she feels the sentiment rings true for a lot of women.

"I thought it was incredibly brave, because you're kind of putting yourself out there to create and say pretty early on in the film that this character is driven by this belief that she has," she explained. "But I thought it was really truthful for her, and I do think that is the truth for a lot of people.

"I think that there will be women who have experienced that sometimes in their life. I don't think everyone has the same experiences, but I felt like that was very truthful for Ravenna. You know, this idea that at 8, she's being given to a king, and by 16, she's already being replaced by somebody else. How can you come from that world and not think that men only use you for a certain period of time and then they're done with you?"

Kristen Stewart chats about Coachella and 'Snow White' with Jimmy Kimmel VIDEO

Joan Q. Public is probably convinced that being Kristen Stewart is a pretty good deal. After all, the girl is a 22-year-old millionaire whose entire job seems to be staring into Robert Pattinson’s eyes… except when she’s tasked with staring into Chris Hemsworth’s eyes instead.
But as Stewart revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night, her life isn’t always easy. From rogue nails on the set of Breaking Dawn, to crazy fans, to the bloodthirsty Molly Ringwald, Stewart faces plenty of threats. Heck, the stress of being KStew is so bad that the actress even forgot to wash her hair before last night’s Met Ball. Mortifying!
Of course, being young and insanely famous does still have its perks. After a few minutes of uncomfortable stuttering, Stewart lit up when she started to tell Kimmel about how much fun she had at Coachella in April. She even got up close and personal with the concert’s headline-making Tupac hologram — thanks to her buddy Katy Perry, who led her through the crowd “like Moses parting the waves of Coachella.” Sounds a lot more fun than deflecting Twihards who ask Stewart to bite them.

7 Weird Justin Bieber Facts Selena Gomez Might Know But Would Never Tell (Video)

In two recent video interviews, Justin Bieber revealed seven facts about himself that Selena Gomez might know but she'd probably never tell. The "weirdness" of JB's replies have as much to do with the interviewers' and the fans' often unusual questions as with Justin's own famously eccentric nature and off the wall sense of humor. So fasten your seatbelts, Beliebers, and get ready to learn some startling facts about your idol. Or get ready to be royally punk'd. Same thing.

Beginning with the two most mundane queries and replies, the Teen Dream's favorite cereals are Crunchberries and/or Frosted Mini Wheats. And just in case you've been lying awake at nights wondering, his favorite soup is Broccoli-Cheddar. If you're also wondering why a Belieber lucky enough to ask her idol anything face to face would want to know, of all things, his favorite soup, you're in good company. Justin asked her the same thing. She just giggled.

Moving right along, if the Biebs had to be an animal he'd be a tiger or lion. His reason? He wants to be at the top of the food chain. Makes sense.

When asked which female artist he'd most like to collaborate with, he mentioned two. And, interestingly, neither of them was Selena Gomez. Oops. In case you haven't guessed, the lucky ladies are Rihanna and Beyoncé. As you can see on the video below, he even gave them a shout out. "Hey Guys," he yelled, "I'm here. I'm available!" Poor Selena.

Contrary to what many of his fans might fantasize, he does not miss his old long, bowl-cut Bieber flip hairdo. When asked if he ever feels nostalgic about the tonsorial style that helped make him famous, he replied: "Not really, that was its own time. It may come back." Ah well, old school hardcore Beliebers can still hold onto the dream.

If he ever gets tired of his first name, Justin's going to rechristen himself Bubbles Bieber, for reasons known only to himself. You can read more about Bubbles B. by clicking here.

The final bit of JB trivia is one that Selena Gomez would surely never repeat—not even to her closest friends like Taylor Swift. Justin Bieber intends to write a song about his chest hair. No, that's not a misprint. Although, hopefully he was pranking the interviewer and his fans when he threw that one out. Hopefully.

You can check out Justin's informative interviews on the video below.
