The teen fave stars in "Fifty Shades of Blue," a parody of the 2011 erotic novel, "Fifty Shades of Grey."
The novel is about a young woman who falls for a wealthy but reserved entrepreneur.
Enter the Gomez parody.
Instead of falling for a sophisticated but introverted businessman, Gomez instead falls for Carl Blue the painter (played by Nick Kroll). Blue's character is hardly the same as the male love interest in the novel version.
Blue is blunt and disinterested. He has fake acne scars on his face and uses his paintbrush to scratch his own belly button. Blue is at the house for a scheduled job, and that's what he intends to do.
But his less-than-attractive traits don't deter a captivated Gomez, who narrates the 3:27 video.
