We sat down with Kyra Sedgwick to talk about her new movie 'The Possession', what her tolerance for scary movies is, a moment where she was gung-ho about and people turned away from her, which castmate would she like to trade places with for a day and what film she has worked on that she would like to see the box appear in.

Snoop Dogg Ready for Gay Rapper

Snoop Lion is ready to embrace gay rappers, admits rappers "were brainwashed"- in a new interview. Hey guys, welcome back to your source for music news, ClevverMusic. Newly renamed Snoop Lion has left hip hop and rap behind for a new and exciting world of reggae- only. But that doesn't mean he can't speak out on the hip-hop industry which he knows so much about. The West Coast native, Snoop Lion says in a new interview he is confident that the hip-hop community is ready to embrace an openly gay rapper. He goes on to admit that would've been nearly impossible during his early years in the game.

In an interview with the Associated Press via HipHopDx Snoop said, "People are learning how to live and get along more, and accept people for who they are and not bash them or hurt them because they're different."

Of course, notable rapper Frank Ocean has recently come out as bisexual, and Snoop referenced Frank's brave decision to open up about his sexuality. Snoop commented in the interview, "When I was growing up, you could never do that and announce that. There would be so much scrutiny and hate and negativity, and no one would step (forward) to support you because that's what we were brainwashed and trained to know." Woah... brainwashed? We think there's more to that story.

Other artists have praised Frank Ocean's decision to come out, stars such as Beyoncé and even Tyler the Creator. To support Snoop's assertion that the rap game is ready for a homosexual rapper, we must remember that rappers like T.I. and Jay-Z support Obama's pro stance on gay marriage. Finally- it's your turn. Do you think rap is ready for openly gay artists? Tell us in the comment section. Bye guys!

Lady Gaga New Terry Richardson Photoshoot!

Lady Gaga and Terry Richardson are at it again- and this time it involves feathers. Hey Little Monsters, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Lady Gaga is a favorite photography subject for famed photog Terry Richardson, and it seems he has tagged along on Gaga's "Born This Way Ball" once again.

New pics have surfaced on Terry's blog from Gaga's show backstage in Helsinki, Finland. We love the candid shots of Gaga running to a quick clothing change, texting, and getting her makeup done by her BFF Tara. There are also some interesting hotel shots added and we have to say they are kind of amazing. Is Gaga possibly channeling Nicki Minaj?

But the best recent photos from Terry's blog are from an impromptu shoot outside a Chanel store in Finland with Gaga in a Black Swan-all-out-feather getup. Gaga wears a feather headdress with a black cap and signature platform black heels.

We love this birdy look, but tell us what you think! You can check out all the photos on Terry's blog, we'll hook you up with a link to that. Be sure to keep it right here for more Gaga news! See you next time Little Monsters.

Emma Stone Talks Gwen Stacy's Fate

Emma Stone recently sat down with director Cameron Crowe to talk about her life and career for Interview Magazine and of course the topic of her portrayal of Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man came up and she shared her thoughts on where she'd like to see the character end up.

Stone revealed that the question she is most asked by Spider-Man fans is what will happen to her character Gwen Stacy and will the films stay true to her comic book story. As most of you probably know, Peter Parker's first love is killed when she is thrown off a bridge by the Green Goblin. Though Spider-Man is able to use his web to grab her leg, she is dead when he pulls her back onto the bridge. Though it is unclear if Gwen died from the fall or because of Spider-Man's attempt to save her, her death had a major impact not only on Parker, but also the comic world.

It's doubtful that Stone actually knows the fate of her character in the films as the next installment is currently in the process of being written for a May 2nd, 2014 release, but she did say she hopes audiences will get a chance to see her character perish in a similar manner to the comics saying, "The person she loves is the person who kills her, which is the most horrifying thing... I want to stay true to that."

So now we know how she feels about Gwen Stacy's death, what about you? Do you want to see her perish as a result of Spider-Man trying to save her like in the comics or would you rather see her go out another way or not die at all? And do you think it should happen in the next film or wait for part three? Give us your theories below .........

He is headed, it turns out, straight for Summerton Junction, where the whole of the U.S. law enforcement will have their last opportunity to make a stand and intercept him before he slips across the border forever. Katie Holmes' New York Fashion Show to Take Place in Lincoln Center

The actress' Holmes and Yang NYFW debut will not compete with Victoria Beckham's show, but will overlap with Michael Kors' show.

Mark your calendars, fashionistas. On Sunday, Sept. 12, Katie Holmes is holding her New York Fashion Week runway debut of her Spring 2013 Holmes & Yang line.

It was initially reported that the actresss/designer would do a small off-site presentation. But the newly single mom has decided to stage her premiere show of Holmes and Yang at Lincoln Center under the penetrating and hyper-critical glare of fashion editors, bloggers and stylists.

Her Spring 2013 collection, a collaboration with her longtime stylist Jeanne Yang, one of The Hollywood Reporter's Power Stylists, will be shown at the Box at Lincoln Center, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 12.

It was also earlier reported that Holmes' line would face off with her former BFF Victoria Beckham's show, tradionally held at 10 a.m., on Sept. 9 at the New York Public Library. But the official day and time for Beckham's show has not been released yet.

But while she's not competing with Beckham that day, her show is up against Michael Kors, whose collection is always one of the not-to-be-missed shows, traditionally held at 10 a.m. in the big tent, the largest venue.

This means that the fashion press and stylists must show up at 9:30 a.m. for a quick peek of Holmes' line before jetting over to Kors. And if her show is late starting, as so many often are, she may lose a lot of important eyeballs.

Given Holmes' heightened profile, after having orchestrated a swift, relatively polite and successful split from A-list star Tom Cruise, all media eyes want to be on Holmes that morning. Some are even hoping to see Suri Cruise, a fashionista in her own right.

Holmes and Yang was launched 2009 and is currently sold exclusively at Barney's in the U.S. and at Harvey Nichols in London. But the publicity garnered by Holmes' very public split, has definitely helped her line get mainstream Middle America brand recognition.

Whose Fashion Show Would You Rather See: Katie Holmes or Victoria Beckham

Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire, Tom Hardy Team for Anti-Poaching Movie at Warner Bros. (Exclusive)

The trio would produce the movie, based on an idea from Hardy about a 'Traffic'-style drama.

Leonardo DiCaprio, Tobey Maguire and Tom Hardy are teaming up to produce an untitled animal-trafficking drama set up at Warner Bros., sources tell Hollywood Reporter.

Hardy came up with the idea, inspired by friends who are former Special Forces operatives and went on to become anti-poaching fighters in South Africa and other nations.

The goal, say sources, is to make a movie in the vein of Traffic, Steven Soderbergh’s multistory take on the various impacts of the war on drugs. In this case, the story would look at everything from the ground war on poachers in the African savanna to how animal material ends up in the fashion houses of Paris. It's unclear whether DiCaprio, Maguire or Hardy would act in the movie.

A search for a writer has begun.

DiCaprio and Maguire are lifelong pals but rarely have worked together, though both are starring in The Great Gatsby for Warners, which is set for release in summer 2013.

DiCaprio also is longtime animal-rights activist. Last year, he became the spokesman for a campaign to protect elephants organized by the International Fund for Animal Welfare.

Hardy is one of the studio’s new favorite actors, coming off his notable appearances in The Dark Knight Rises and Inception (alongside DiCaprio). Hardy is starting to become active as a producer, having recently set up an untitled biker project at Warner Bros.

DiCaprio is repped by LBI Entertainment and Hansen Jacobson. Maguire is repped by WME, Management 360 and Hansen Jacobson. Hardy is repped by CAA, Sloane Offer and the U.K.’s United Agents.

Fake Video of Lindsay Lohan Buying Drugs Likely Is Defamatory

A man featured in a viral video that implied he was Lohan's drug dealer looks primed to score a big win in court against paparazzi.

Lindsay Lohan

A Los Angeles Superior Court judge is set to rule soon that if you approach Lindsay Lohan on a street and hand her a bag of mysterious stones and crystals, that doesn't automatically give the paparazzi a right to photograph the event and present you as her cocaine dealer.

That's essentially what X-17, a celebrity news and photo service, was sued for in April.

The lawsuit came from Peter Dice, a Los Angeles drug counselor, who alleged he had been defamed when X-17 posted a video on its website that quickly went viral in an article titled, "Lindsay Lohan Makes a Purchase in Venice."

X-17 attempted to persuade a judge to drop the lawsuit on First Amendment grounds, but after a hearing Friday, the judge appears to be leaning toward handing the plaintiff a big victory.

According to the original complaint, Dice says he bumped into Lohan and her friend in front of a Venice Beach pub in August 2011. Dice handed her a bag of "healing crystals," which he says are a legal alternative healing medicine. Her friend whispered "cocaine" in Spanish, and Lohan handed the bag back.
The interaction was caught on videotape.

X-17 then posted the video and wrote: "At one point, Lindsay can be seen taking a bag from a friend. Her friend checks out the contents of the bag, and eventually Lindsay takes a different bag from another guy and hands over cash to pay for it."

After X-17 and its president and founder Francois Navarre refused requests by Lohan and Dice to retract the story, Dice sued for slander, libel, invasion of privacy (false light), violations of his publicity rights and intentional infliction of emotional distress.

In response, X-17's lawyers brought an anti-SLAPP motion, arguing that the lawsuit was stifling free speech.

STORY: Lindsay Lohan in Talks to Join 'Scary Movie 5'

To decide whether the lawsuit survives, the judge has to look at two factors. Both were addressed in a tentative ruling heading into Friday's hearing.

The first is whether the causes of action arise from protected activity in furtherance of the defendants' constitutional right of free speech in connection with an issue of public interest.

On this factor, X-17 wins. The judge is set to accept the celebrity news agency's argument that Lohan is a world-famous public figure who is closely associated with substance abuse problems, and just because X-17 is a tabloid, that doesn't deprive it of First Amendment protection to report on something that the public cares about.

In light of that determination, Dice must then show a probability of prevailing on his claims before his lawsuit goes any further.

Here, X-17 is not so lucky.

The agency argued that Dice was a "limited-purpose public figure" because of his association with Lohan. If the judge accepted this, it would mean that Dice would need to show X-17 acted with actual malice, something that would no doubt be tough to demonstrate.

But, in the tentative ruling, the judge wouldn't give X-17 this legal gift.

"A plaintiff's trivial or tangential participation in the public controversy is not enough," says the judge. "The plaintiff must have ‘thrust [himself or herself] to the forefront' of a public controversy, becoming a factor in the ultimate resolution of it."

The judge continues with one of the best lines ever in a defamation case. He says, "Approaching Lindsay Lohan on a busy public street, in front of paparazzi, with a bag containing a crystalline substance can be fairly characterized as a regrettable decision -- but not one which transformed Plaintiff into a limited-purpose public figure."

STORY: Charlie Sheen, Lindsay Lohan Left for Dead in 'Scary Movie 5' Opener

The judge is set to throw out the publicity rights claim but keep the others, having determined that Dice has "sufficiently established" that X-17 and Navarre "negligently" published the disputed video and article.

The case isn't quite over, as X-17 argued that even without being able to avail itself of a no-actual-malice defense, the celebrity news agency still can show there was no actionable statements made in the article -- in other words, that it was all opinion and no fact. In the tentative ruling, the judge wasn't ready to address that. But after taking everything under advisement following Friday's hearing, that issue might be addressed soon.

Katy Perry Rejects American Idol $20 Million Offer

Katy Perry turns down 'Idol's insane offer. Hey guys, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Happy Monday everyone! It looks like 'Wide Awake' singer Katy Perry is the latest big name pop star to get approached by American Idol. 27-year-old Katy reportedly was offered a cool $20 million for a spot on the judge's panel for the upcoming 12th Season of American Idol.

This surprises us because the rumors are saying that Nicki Minaj is still finalizing her deal to star on the show, and we already know Mariah is confirmed as a judge. So how would the show fare with 3 female judges? It's never been done before, and something tells us there is a reason for that. Catfight, much?

TMZ reported that the initial offer to Katy was $18 million, matching Mariah's salary. No doubt Katy said no, and they raised the stakes for a hopeful one-year-deal. But Katy reportedly stood her ground and declined the large sum. We know Katy doesn't need the big bucks, she's a huge star who just finished a world tour, but do you think she should have done it? The newly red-headed star would have been perfect for the show in our opinion, but we understand if she needs to extend her 'cat nap' a little longer. No word yet from Katy on Twitter, just lots of tweets about cooking classes and hitting up Disneyland with her BFF Shannon Woodward. Leave us a comment with your thoughts! Be sure to follow us on Twitter @ClevverMusic for all your music news, bye guys see you soon!

What's Up With Gaga? : Stoned Disney Princess in "ARTPOP" Album, Flashes Breasts

Welcome back to What's Up With Gaga?! I'm Misty Monster, bringing you your weekly Gaga news. At the top of the week, we learned Gaga admitted to vomiting backstage in the middle of her Bucharest, Romania show on August 16th. She confessed to the audience upon her arrival back on stage, "I went backstage and vomited, and I did not want you to see this... It happens to me sometimes." Well, while we are not entirely sure why this happens to her sometimes we hope it's not a cry for help, but rather her channeling "Partynauseous" her upcoming collab with Kendrick Lamar.

Next, we learned of a possible new collaboration this time with rapper Azealia Banks. The two engaged in a Twitter chat, and now seems they may be working together. Azealia tweeted on August 21st "When Mother Monster Calls..." to which Gaga retweeted and added one of her own, "Can you make '99 Problems' my ring tone for when I call you, and then should 'Bitch Ain't One' at me when you pick up?" Uhh hopefully that's an inside joke. We'll keep on the lookout for more news on this update.

Next, we were shocked to see Mother Monsters bare her breasts in a recent "Monstervision 3" vlog seen on her YouTube channel. In one of three home video clips that Gaga shares with Little Monster fans, it is Christmas Day and Gaga is dancing to her song "Sheisse" with her Mom and shocks us by flashing the camera!

We were however not surprised to see Gaga defending Prince Harry who's nude pics from a wild night in Vegas were circling the Internet this week. Gaga tweeted, "but truly f*ck off to whatever shitty friend took those pictures and leaked them." In a previous tweet which Gaga after deleted she gushed, "HOLY MOTHER HARRY LOOKS FIT. Hope no ones mad at him for that, I'm certainly not #RoyalsArePeopleToo." We personally love her hashtag, and her trying to lessen the blow with his family when he returns to England today.

The saddest Gaga news of the week came Thursday when Gaga tweeted the delay of her upcoming song "Partynauseous", a collaboration with pal Kendrick Lamar. Gaga wrote, "Im REALLY sorry to the fans. Record w Kendrick won't be out on the 6th I'm SO SORRY its not my album I don't control dates. But stay tuned!" The upcoming song was set to debut September 6th, the same night as the MTV VMAs and was reported to overshadow the award show since Gaga wasn't nominated for any awards. No word yet on when it will actually be released.

Last, in Gaga news, she has teased us about what her upcoming album 'ARTPOP' will sound like! Via tweets sent to her BFF and makeup artist Tara Savelo, Gaga revealed the album is inspired by drugs and Disney Princesses. Tara tweeted first writing, "Nothing like watching @LadyGaga in her waspy white sweater and brown hair write the hardest record of all time. #maryjaneholland" to which Mother Monster responded, "@TaraSavelo well I was going for a more stoned Disney princess kinda vibe. Not so much?" We don't think Disney is going to be so fond of this reference, but we kinda love it. It's no secret that Gaga smokes pot, so what do you guys think these new songs will sound like?

Cross game Anime review

Type: TV
Episodes: 50
Status: Finished Airing
Aired: Apr 5, 2009 to Mar 28, 2010
Producers: SynergySP
Genres: Comedy, Drama, Romance, School, Sports
Duration: 23 min. per episode
Rating: G - All Ages

Yes, if you’re like me – a huge fan of classic shows in this genre like Maison Ikkoku which took a slow and steady approach to character development and plot, Cross Game is really an exceptional treat.  They just don’t make a lot of anime anime of this sort anymore – it seems most longer shows are reserved for popular shonen franchises like Naruto and not for character-oriented “slice of life” shows like this one.

To begin with, as most will immediately assume based on what they may see about the show before viewing it, Cross Game appears to be a baseball anime. However, that presumption is a mistake – it is a show that involves baseball, but it isn’t about baseball. Baseball is the lowest common denominator that ties almost every character to each other, and it is the driving force that provides the challenges and rivals that keeps the characters aiming higher. This drive and determination is a theme that is played out in a very classic shonen way, but Cross Game plays its cards just right by keeping the work, successes, and failures relatable to anyone. This is achieved by keeping the focus not on the baseball itself but on the characters and how they react to and deal with the significant baseball-related events as they occur, allowing the story to stay easily understandable and interesting to even non-sports fans.

That isn’t to say that there is no baseball in the series, quite the opposite in fact. However, the games that are focused on are limited to the most important, intense ones that keep the viewer on their toes while being easy to follow for the non-sports fan. The baseball fans in the audience need not be turned away by the comparatively sparse amount of actual playing, though. Since the viewers who aren’t into baseball won’t need to be entertained by antics or extravagant special moves, Cross Game‘s take on the game of baseball is realistic and fun for purists who just want a good game of baseball. Both sets of viewers will easily be able to understand how the game keeps the world of Cross Game turning.

Cross Game also knows where to put its attention when it comes to the characters. The cast is kept decently small and focused, allowing for as much growth and screen time as possible for the most important characters. The people who will be mainstays are made clear early on, allowing for introductions to take as little time as possible to give way for optimal development. Of the main cast, there are no flat characters, and with the diversity of the roster it is a rare moment to become tired of what the series has to offer. On top of their contributions to the story, each character also provides a unique atmosphere and sense of humor to the scenes they are involved in, keeping the show fresh and on its toes at all times. The cast deals with basic themes of life, death, and love, but each in their own different stride, bringing an interesting dynamic of how long it takes individual characters to cope with certain situations while also interacting with each other on a daily basis. This all leads to a small, well-developed lineup of characters that are all memorable, and that cast itself is quite possibly the strongest asset Cross Game has to offer.

As the saying goes, the real beauty is in the journey, not the destination, and Cross Game recognizes and relishes in this fact. In terms of plot twists or surprise advancements in the relationships, there are very few if any. The turns and twists the story takes are, for the most part, what many would describe as unsurprising or cliché. In the case of Cross Game, though, this is definitely not a negative. From the results of games to the status of relationships, Cross Game takes the most natural progression without attempting to insert unnecessary drama or convoluted twists, and it works perfectly without either of those because the story simply doesn’t need them to stay both entertaining and lovely.

The music, animation, and even art are all simple and to the point. The retro-feel of the art with the more modern animation style gives a sort of “remastered” feeling to the viewer, complimenting the traditional standards and themes Cross Game makes a point to keep intact. The opening never changes and, while never exactly fitting the state the story is in at any given point in time, is just ambiguous enough to keep a certain relaxed mood in mind for each episode. The endings are never terrible but simply not memorable. The single exception is the first ending, which incorporates itself into the first episode in a beautiful and melancholy way that successfully set the tone for the entire next forty-nine episodes to come. If nothing else, that moment is one that will stick around in many viewers’ memories as possibly the most emotionally powerful scene of the entire series, and that in itself is worth something significant.

Cross Game is not the most intellectually compelling anime you will ever watch. It doesn’t delve deeply into subjects, and it never leaves a certain comfort zone when discussing more tender subjects. It doesn’t have groundbreaking characters or a surprising story with exciting cliffhangers. It is fully aware, however, that those things don’t matter if the execution isn’t just right, and that shows bright as day. Thus, Cross Game‘s simplicity is also its beauty, standing as an instant classic and a coming-of-age story that will be looked upon as one of the greats someday by the power of its small successes and incredibly human characters.
I recommend it to every one out there both boys and girls, sports fan or not. You must give it a try ^_^

Anime Opening:

Paranorman Movie review

Coraline was good, but Laika’s new stop-motion animation marvel ParaNorman takes it to another level. Their first zombie animation knows how to add warmth to the proceedings and make its moral lessons stronger by helping the viewers arrive at their own conclusions rather than pushing clichéd values down their throats.

Norman Babcock (Kodi Smit-McPhee), the cutest antihero ever, speaks to dead people and pets (to great comic effect, at times). His caring Grandma (wonderful Elaine Stritch), who’s been dead for a while, is his only true friend – she knows very well she has to keep an undead eye on him since he is treated as a ‘freak’ by everybody else around him.

His parents (Jeff Garlin and Leslie Mann) constantly fight over his embarrassing paranormal skills while the town is about to get infested with zombies because of an ancient curse. Norman has to stop the witch who promised to wake the walkers but she turns out to be a little girl who was brutally murdered for being a kid different from the crowd – some 300 years before. Norman has to learn to break his way through her rage and save the townspeople, who aren’t much help at all.

Childhood the best of times?

ParaNorman paints the world of childhood as a dark kingdom of horror and ugliness. Every living creature (except the dead ones) is the vision of spastic, useless cruelty. His sister is a mindless phony. The kids at school are stupid bullies who misspell hateful nicknames. The neighbours look like they’d burn him at the pole – gladly. His parents are of no help: at one point Norman is talking to a belly and a bottom (his mother and father, as seen to us from his perspective).

His dad is the biggest bully of all. The abuse he inflicts is the kind of abuse that may leave scars for life. At least those are complete strangers in his school and in the street – they don’t have to love Norman; seeing his own father reject the very essence of him (his supernatural gift) is heart-breaking. No one coming out of ParaNorman will say sweetly that childhood as one’s ‘best years’ – and I would like to especially thank writer/director Chris Butler and director Sam Fell for shooting that idiotic cliché right through its dead head.

ParaNorman gets subversive quickly. We are not afraid of the zombies eating the children, we are afraid of the parents burning the children alive. Surviving in the midst of ugly (in and out) adults like the monstrous Teacher (with her green mask, she is almost indistinguishable from zombies) and the angry, blood-thirsty mob is no easy feat. Norman is the last boy standing – and it’s not the best way to learn about the world when you are a kid.

On the fun side, ParaNorman is a crazy fiesta of vibrant colours and amazing imagery. Norman looks like a child top model with his huge asymmetric eyes, crooked nostrils and Will Smith ears, which light up like overweight fireflies when the sun shines through them. His room is a haven of zombie paraphernalia – from wallpaper and bedcover to nightlight and slippers, all in the most eye-popping, juicy hues.

The whole idea of the zombie apocalypse hasn’t been so reinvented and turned upside down since Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later as it is in ParaNorman. The zombies (slow again) possess intelligence (and sometimes make more sense than humans), communicate with each other and are basically ‘good’ despite smelling terribly and groaning all the time. The focus here is on psychological horror and the intertextual fright potential of the zombie metaphor (we know they might be a threat, so we are scared – just in case).

Verdict: A movie about a bullying epidemic that is like a zombie one (once bitten the virus begins to spread, where former victims become aggressors) couldn’t be timelier. It’s beautiful. It’s very funny. It startles and scares. And it teaches us not to fear. What’s not to love?
