Jamaican-American rapper Sean Kingston premiered the official video for his track "Rum and Raybans" on Sunday, November 18 during his hosting stint at the American Music Awards 2012 pre-show. The track is taken from Kingston's third studio album titled "Back 2 Life", and features the distinct electronic/dance vocals of English singer Cher Lloyd.
The Hannah Lux Davis-directed clip has every element needed in dishing out an awesome party and club dance video: the big black SUVs, make-out sessions, street dancers wearing multi-colored Raybans, money being thrown around, a lot of booze, some confetti on the dance floor, glow-in-the-dark party paint, and a surprise cameo from rapperChris Brown. Breezy's appearance somehow makes up for Llyod's absence in the fun and totally likeable video.
The "Tomorrow" artist recently recalled how it felt like to work on the track with Llyod and only had good words to say about the collaboration. "She is amazing, she is talented and my brand new single. It's going to be crazy. It is one of my best videos to date," said the 22-year-old singer-songwriter.
"Rum and Raybans" is a very catchy tune and certainly makes listeners move and want to hit the clubs for the night and party hard. Kingston has a potential million-dollar hit with this new track and equally impressive video. The single is available now as a digital download on iTunes.
Amid their much-talked-about reunion rumors, Rihanna and Chris Brown reveal their latest collaboration "Nobody's Business" lifted off RiRi's upcoming album "Unapologetic". Through the easy-listening song, which boasts 90s post-disco beats, the Bajan beauty and her ex-beau Breezy seem to want the world to know that whatever happens in their tumultuous relationship, "it ain't nobody's business."
Inspired by the tune in Michael Jackson's "The Way You Make Me Feel", the new song has bold lyrics that spark speculations that RiRi and Breezy are indeed rekindling their romance though they recently denied it. "You'll always be mine, sing it to the world/Always be my boy, I'll always be your girl/Nobody's business, ain't nobody's business," so the songstress sings in the chorus.
"Your love is perfection, please point me in the right direction/ I'mma give you all my affection/Every touch becomes infectious/ Let's make out in this Lexus/ There's no other love just like this/ A life with you I want, then can we become love's persona," the duo croon.
"Nobody's Business" (formerly titled "Nobodies Business") is included in RiRi's seventh studio installment "Unapologetic", which will be released Stateside on November 19. The Bajan beauty is currently busy promoting the album as she kicked off her "777 " tour in Mexico City on Thursday, November 15.
While preparing her third studio installment, JoJo will tide her fans over with a new mixtape "Agape". Shortly after announcing the mixtape, the 21-year-old pop/R&B singer unleashes its first track titled "We Get By".
The song boasts funky vibe which still showcases JoJo's soulful vocals. She recorded the song with her friends Austin Brown, Scott Bruzenak and Tommy Parker, known as The Backpackkids, who wanted to make "genre-less music."
"All I got are these hopes and dreams and this Cranberry Stoli," she sings the hopeful lyrics. She continues, "We get by, we get high 'cause tomorrow's goodbye/ I know it will be OK/ I believe in myself."
Described as a "labor of love from the heart without limits or boundaries," "Agape" is due to come out on December 20. JoJo will precede the release with a performance at The Roxy on December 4.
JoJo is gearing up to release her yet-to-be-titled third studio album in 2013 after scrapping "Jumping Trains" last summer.

#BARBZ we have exciting news! At the VMAs Nicki Minaj revealed a new album is coming and a new single will drop next week! Hey guys, I'm Misty Kingma, welcome back to ClevverMusic. At the 2012 MTV Video Music Awards not only did Nicki Minaj perform her song with Alicia Keys "Girl On Fire" but she took home "Best Female Video" for her video for "Starships." Nicki said she was stunned by the win, and in her acceptance speech proclaiming, "Oh my god! I really didn't expect this. Barbz, I know you're out there, I love you so much."
But, the best part of this Nicki news happened before the show even started. On the red carpet, in an interview with E! News Nicki revealed her plans for a new album and a new single. She told E! she'll be re-releasing her smash sophomore album in November as "Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded -- The Re-Up" and it will include "lots of new songs". But it didn't end there- she announced the first new single is coming next week! She ended the announcement with, "So Barbz, you are going to spaz, you are going to love it, you are going to go crazy."
I don't know about you but we are already going crazy! We can't wait to find out the new track title and what it sounds like. On Twitter Nicki revealed the album will come with new album art and on Monday she plans on doing a Q&A on Twitter regarding the #ReUp album.
Welcome back to What's Up With Gaga?! I'm Misty Monster, bringing you your weekly Gaga news. At the top of the week, we learned Gaga admitted to vomiting backstage in the middle of her Bucharest, Romania show on August 16th. She confessed to the audience upon her arrival back on stage, "I went backstage and vomited, and I did not want you to see this... It happens to me sometimes." Well, while we are not entirely sure why this happens to her sometimes we hope it's not a cry for help, but rather her channeling "Partynauseous" her upcoming collab with Kendrick Lamar.
Next, we learned of a possible new collaboration this time with rapper Azealia Banks. The two engaged in a Twitter chat, and now seems they may be working together. Azealia tweeted on August 21st "When Mother Monster Calls..." to which Gaga retweeted and added one of her own, "Can you make '99 Problems' my ring tone for when I call you, and then should 'Bitch Ain't One' at me when you pick up?" Uhh hopefully that's an inside joke. We'll keep on the lookout for more news on this update.
Next, we were shocked to see Mother Monsters bare her breasts in a recent "Monstervision 3" vlog seen on her YouTube channel. In one of three home video clips that Gaga shares with Little Monster fans, it is Christmas Day and Gaga is dancing to her song "Sheisse" with her Mom and shocks us by flashing the camera!
We were however not surprised to see Gaga defending Prince Harry who's nude pics from a wild night in Vegas were circling the Internet this week. Gaga tweeted, "but truly f*ck off to whatever shitty friend took those pictures and leaked them." In a previous tweet which Gaga after deleted she gushed, "HOLY MOTHER HARRY LOOKS FIT. Hope no ones mad at him for that, I'm certainly not #RoyalsArePeopleToo." We personally love her hashtag, and her trying to lessen the blow with his family when he returns to England today.
The saddest Gaga news of the week came Thursday when Gaga tweeted the delay of her upcoming song "Partynauseous", a collaboration with pal Kendrick Lamar. Gaga wrote, "Im REALLY sorry to the fans. Record w Kendrick won't be out on the 6th I'm SO SORRY its not my album I don't control dates. But stay tuned!" The upcoming song was set to debut September 6th, the same night as the MTV VMAs and was reported to overshadow the award show since Gaga wasn't nominated for any awards. No word yet on when it will actually be released.
Last, in Gaga news, she has teased us about what her upcoming album 'ARTPOP' will sound like! Via tweets sent to her BFF and makeup artist Tara Savelo, Gaga revealed the album is inspired by drugs and Disney Princesses. Tara tweeted first writing, "Nothing like watching @LadyGaga in her waspy white sweater and brown hair write the hardest record of all time. #maryjaneholland" to which Mother Monster responded, "@TaraSavelo well I was going for a more stoned Disney princess kinda vibe. Not so much?" We don't think Disney is going to be so fond of this reference, but we kinda love it. It's no secret that Gaga smokes pot, so what do you guys think these new songs will sound like?
The Killers New Song "Runaways" Lyrics - Clevver Music
The Killers "Runaways" Lyrics:
Blonde hair blowin' in the summer wind A blue-eyed girl playing in the sand I'd been on a trail for a little while But that was the night that she broke down and held my hand The teenage rush, she said, 'maybe I'll just runaway, we got time' Well that ain't much... We can't wait 'til tomorrow You gotta know that this is real, baby why you wanna fight it? It's the one thing you can choose, oh!
We got engaged on a Friday night I swore on the head of our unborn child that I could take care of the three of us But I got the tendency to slip when the nights get wild. It's in my blood She says she might just runaway somewhere else, some place good We can't wait 'til tomorrow You gotta know that this is real, baby why you wanna fight it? It's the one thing you can choose
Let's take a chance baby we can't lose Mean we're all just runaways I knew that when I met you, I'm not gonna let you runaway I knew that when I held you, I wasn't lettin' go
We used to look at the stars and confess our dreams Hold each other to the morning light We used to laugh, now we only fight Baby are you lonesome now?
At night I come home after they go to sleep Like a stumbling ghost, I haunt these halls There's a picture of us on our wedding day I recognize the girl but I can't settle in these walls
We can't wait 'til tomorrow No we're caught up in the appeal, baby why you wanna hide it? It's the last thing on my mind (Why you wanna hide it?) I turn the engine over and my body just comes alive and we all just runaway I knew that when I met you, I'm not gonna let you runaway I knew that when I held you, I wasn't lettin go, no no no! (No no no!) (And we're all just runaways) Yeah runaway (And we're all just runaways) Yeah
The Killers are back, and they're killing it with new single, "Runaways"! Hey Clevvies, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Indie rock band The Killers have released their first single off upcoming 'Battle Born' album, titled 'Runaways' and we've got your lyrical breakdown! The album is the rock band's fourth studio album, and first album in four years, due out some time this year!
The song, a tale about a young girl who flees home and gets hitched starts out "Blonde hair blowin' in the summer wind/ A blue-eyed girl playing in the sand".
Lead Singer Brandon Flowers takes it home in the chorus singing, "We can't wait 'til tomorrow/ You gotta know that this is real, baby why you wanna fight it? It's the one thing you can choose, oh!"
Don't let the upbeat song fool you- this sad marriage song will tear at your heartstrings, and we hope all is well in the boy's personal lives! Check out the full lyrics down below in the description, and take a listen to the song as well. Do you think it's a good first single?
Lady Gaga New Album Lacks "Maturity" She Says - New Release Music Albums
Gaga teases new details of her upcoming album at her show in Perth, Australia! Hey Little Monsters, welcome back to ClevverMusic. At her show in Perth, Australia Mother Monster had some interesting tidbits to share with the crowd about her upcoming album, a follow-up to 2011's "Born This Way."
Before launching into recently revealed new track "Princess Die" about the late Princess Diana, Gaga explained, "It's not about you, it's about me. This whole thing is about me," she joked about the song, "So I wrote this song and in a way it has a bit to do with the rest of the album..." She went on after the crowd antagonized her, "I feel that when I wrote 'Born This Way', I demonstrated a sense of maturity. And I feel that, on the next album, there's a lack of maturity, it's a tremendous lack of maturity or sense of responsibility."
Our take on this? We're glad to see Gaga is enjoying her life and all her success. We would be scared to hear she was taking herself too seriously. She is only 26 after all.
Gaga will be revealing the album title in September, a name she's supposedly had for awhile! You can watch Gaga's reveal at her show in Perth, click the link below.
