Henry Cavill Talks Playing Superman In 'Man of Steel'

How would you feel about playing one of the most famous superheroes of all time? Henry Cavill talks about playing the one, the only, Superman, and we have the details.
Following the blue-spandexed footsteps of George Reeves, Christopher Reeve, and Brandon Routh, Cavill is set to fly high in Zach Snyder's 'Man of Steel' reboot.
In an interview with Cineplex Magazine, Cavill explained that the new and hopefully improved film will have a more realistic take on The Man of Tomorrow saying, "What I can say is that it's a modernization of the character and a very realistic view of one, obviously, very fantastical individual." He goes on to explain that Snyder has taken a very practical approaching while filming and wanted to make the character easy to identify with.

As for the pressure he might feel for playing such an iconic roll as Superman? Cavill said, "I don't let the pressures get to me because that's going to hinder my performance and, therefore, let people down. So I choose to ignore the pressure side of it and focus on doing justice to Superman."

Working alongside well-known names as Amy Adams, Michael Shannon, Russell Crow, Kevin Costner and Diane Lane, we feel this movie will certainly live up to its expectations.

'Man of Steel' is scheduled to land in movie theaters on July 14, 2013.
Are you ready for Big Blue? Do you think this comic to movie transition will be just as successful as the Marvel family? When will we ever see a Justice League versus the Avengers movie?! Let us know down below. I'm Aja Dang...... Thanks for watching.
