What's Up with Gaga? Fiber Optic Wig, Tweets At Rihanna, New Tattoo!
Miss any Gaga news this week? It's ok, we've got ya covered! Welcome back to "What's Up With Gaga?" Let's get right into it. First up this week, Gaga surprised us with a new tattoo! She debuted it on LittleMonsters.com, an anchor on her ribcage, with the caption "New Tat, Stamp of His Mermaid". Could she be referring to boyfriend Taylor Kinney? Hmmm.
Next, Gaga revealed her upcoming album 'ARTPOP' will be released an app, complete with tons of cool features like interactive chats, films for each song, extra music, fashion updates, and more! The best part of the app is that Gaga can add stuff to it long after its initial release. Don't worry- the album will also be available in traditional forms.
Next, Gaga graced us with some new "Born This Way Ball" North American tour dates! Early next year Gaga will stop at 26 new Canada and US locations kicking off January 11th in Vancouver and ending March 16th 2013 in Miami. Check the description for a full listing of dates!
In strange Gaga news, the Haus of Gaga has debuted a new light up, fiber optic wig comprised of human hair that glows in the dark. In a new video, Gaga explains the genesis of the wig and how it works saying it was inspired by of course- a Disney Princess, check it out.
Today, it was announced that the full Stephen Klein directed 'Fame' fragrance film will debut September 13th at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC, at a black-tie masquerade party. Gaga is also set to perform at the event, which will close out New York Fashion Week.
Last Gaga news update, she loved Rihanna's performance at the 2012 VMAS! As you know, Gaga was not in attendance at this year's show which saddened us all, but we know she watched the show. She took to Twitter to send out her thoughts on the show, tweeting about Rihanna's performance, "What a lovely performance by @Rihanna! I feel like I'm sixteen again watching the VMAs, and then I remember I get to do this too. #socrazy". Gaga also praised Green Day in a tweet, and newcomer Frank Ocean.
