Kids excited about my film with Emma Watson: Russell Crowe

Gladiator star Russell Crowe says his kids are very excited about the fact that he is making a film with Harry Potter star Emma Watson. The 48-year-old actor's sons Charles, eight, and Tennyson, five, are very impressed that the actress has joined the cast of his forthcoming film Noah because
they are big fans of the "Harry Potter" film series, in which she played Hermione Granger, reported Contactmusic.

"My kids are flipping out that I'm going to work with Hermione," Crowe tweeted.

The actor, who is married to singer-actress Danielle Spencer, has previously treated his children to a Harry Potter studio tour in London, England and says they impressed their guide with their intelligent reasoning.

Referring to the houses which the Hogwarts students are sorted into in the Harry Potter stories, Crowe said, "Harry Potter tour, guide assumed my boys would be gryffendor, no way they say, Ravenclaw, why? They are the smart kids and none of them die."

Noah, which is directed by Darren Aronofsky, will see the actor portray the Biblical ark builder, while Watson will play Ila, the love interest of his older son Shem (Douglas Booth).

The film is scheduled for release in 2014.

Emma Watson to join cast of Noah?

Emma Watson is set to go Biblical with a role in Darren Aronofsky's drama Noah.
The Harry Potter star is in talks to join the film as Ila, the love interest of Noah's son Shem (played by Douglas Booth), reported Variety.
It will mark a reunion with her Perks Of Being A Wallflower co-star Logan Lerman.
Russell Crowe is already on board in the lead role of ark builder Noah, but the parts of the villain and Noah's wife have yet to be cast.
Liev Schreiber is thought to be a contender to play the antagonist, while Jennifer Connelly was linked to the role of the wife.
Shooting for Noah is scheduled to begin in the summer, with a 2014 release in cinemas.
Since the Harry Potter finale, where Emma waved farewell to her bookish alter-ego Hermione Granger, the star has appeared in acclaimed film My Week With Marilyn.
As well as Perks Of Being A Wallflower, her upcoming big-screen outings include Sofia Coppola's The Bling Ring and Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's comedy End Of The World, where she is rumoured to appear as herself.
